I didn't know the name of this laundry shop I went to until recently. All I knew was it's located along the 168 Maginhawa strip, in between Round Robin and Breakfast Bin. After a little research, and confirmation by my old receipts, I found that it was called Junior Lavandero.
PROS: This place was recommended by FTF, who is a mom, has high standards, and has her sh*t together, so you know this place is good. And it is! Their laundry quality is clean and pleasant-smelling, but not too much on the fabric conditioner (which makes me sneeze); They have quick service. You can pick your clothes up the very next day. You could even do it on the same day if you dropped your load in the morning.
CONS: It's one of the more expensive laundry shops in Maginhawa. If the usual price would be 25 pesos per kilo, they offer theirs at 30. Plus, they have different rates for rags and doormats, bed sheets and blankets which would be 45-60 pesos per kilo; They don't deliver nor pick up your clothes so you have to drop it off and pick it up yourself.
TL;DR: It's recommended for people who like high quality laundry service, have their own vehicle to pick up/drop off their laundry, and with a budget of 500-600 pesos per two-person load. read more
