After being told they were the best, I sent a message and called about the jewelry I was hoping to sell. Was told to bring it in that they accept all jewerly, well not true. Corey, I'm guessing was the owner, told me he wasn't interested that he already had enough rings in the size I had. I politely asked him how much an appraisal would be, he answered , I was kinda of stunned and went OH my! He told me I could elsewhere and turned around and walked off. People have bad days and I hope that is what this was but I will never step foot in there again and I will not recommend this store to anyone I know. read more

While their jewelry is beautiful and most everyone there has been kind and helpful, the woman who helped my fiance get our wedding bands purchased made snide comments about where he bought my ring from (another jewelry store in Jackson) it left a bad taste in mine and my finances mouth. You will be wise to get a second opinion on ANY jewelry repairs. After over 30 years of using Juniker, my family will now never use them again. Our trust has been broken. So sad. After paying $200 then a short time later, charging an additional almost $700 to "fix" my 87 year old Mother's tennis bracelet in a gold jacket, she wore her "fixed" bracelet for two weeks, it broke again. They then said it would cost thousands to really fix it. I brought her bracelet to my jeweler in Houston, TX. He fixed it for under$100. read more

While the customer service was friendly, they were not very helpful. I feel like they scammed me out of my money - as they took in a couple watches saying they had a watchmaker that would be able to look at my watches, and at least tell me what was wrong with them, but hopefully be able to repair them (they advertise jewelry repair). After having my watches for a week - I get a text saying that they received my watches and weren't able to repair them. Once I get to the store, I come to find that the watchmaker hasn't even touched my watches, much less identified what was wrong with them. The icing on the cake? I had to pay an exorbitant shipping fee for them to send MY jewelry to a watchmaker that didn't even attempt to fix them. All of this could've been avoided if the staff bothered to place a call to the watchmaker before sending my watches. I feel like I was scammed out of my money, and would rate them lower, if not for them at least being polite and friendly. read more

I had a piece appraised there and and three months after the appraisal (in which I paid over $200 for). I decided to see if they would be interested in purchasing the piece. Cory Ravenstein then informed me the piece they appraised for nearly $9,000, they would only pay $600.00 for. To say I was shocked and insulted is an understatement. Apparently honesty and treating repeat customers well is not a policy of theirs. I couldn't in good conscience recommend doing business with a company as this. read more

I was very let down with how my fiancé and I were treated here. Yes, we are 23 and 24 years old, but that doesn't mean you treat us any differently. I will not speak a certain name, but a certain sir acted like we had no business being in there wasting his time. Our price range apparently did not match his expectation, and the rest of our interaction in the store was over after that. He seemed pre-occupied, and not worried about finding us anything. We told him what we were thinking and he would continue to go different routes as if to show us he wasn't paying any attention to us and that what we wanted didn't matter. I would recommend Albriton's Jewelry over these people ANY DAY. The man who helped us didn't even ask us our price range until he found and designed the exact thing I wanted. I brought my engagement ring here to be sized on a Saturday at about 12:15 pm, I was the only customer in the store. First issue I had was that I reached out to see how much it cost to get a ring sized and they wouldn't even tell me the basic price, which is $118. This already seems steep, but since they're one of the few jewelers open right now, I guess we can't complain. Second issue, the sales associate called me 'young lady' at least 3 times during our interaction. Regardless of my age, it felt extremely condescending. He also made a comment about me living in an apartment, instead of in Madison, when I had to give him my address. Third issue, when I asked about ring sizing, first it was 10 days, for $118. Don't want to wait that long? You can pay our expedited price, $177 and get it on Monday afternoon. He could sense my hesitation to pay for "expedited" ring sizing, and once I asked if they did same-day, he talked to a jeweler and told me I could get it that afternoon. So from 10 days, to 2 days, to actually about 3 hours, for $189 with tax. My band is the most basic, so the fact that they said it would take 10 days is a bit absurd. Hindsight, I should have just left, but I paid the expedited price to get my ring sized, and I will not be back. read more

Every time I've come to do business at this store, John & Teddy, have been nice but Corey overshadowed them and made me feel that I could not afford to be there. I have given Juniker several opportunities to see if the service would change but it did not. More than three strikes. The service should be the same no matter who enters the doors. read more

Walked into this store simply to shop around for bands in preparation for my upcoming wedding, as this is my first time doing so. While evaluating their selection a saleswoman greeted me with a very condescending tone when I stated this is my "first time" shopping for men's jewelry. Any time I asked a basic question concerning a piece, the saleswoman would scoff as if I were supposed to already know the answer. There was genuinely no help from sales staff and felt very uncomfortable and disappointed as I walked away. Their sales staff, store environment, and way of business are far from a pleasurable experience. Customer inquiries should be taken more seriously, even from "first timers" like myself. I stopped by other nearby jewelry stores in the Madison/Ridgeland area, all of which were much more helpful (I also highly recommend going to any of these first.). read more

Do NOT shop here. You can buy similar and even better looking pieces of jewelry for the same or less money elsewhere. Furthermore, the customer service is HORRIBLE. I bought my girlfriend two pieces for Christmas last year, and went to return them as she was wanting something different. Would not give the money back, NOR were they amicable about the whole transaction. They must be hurting if they need the $1500 that badly. Family owned, but NOT family values.
