The second time was during a more sedate middle of the afternoon and the place still had a good number of customers; which is a good sign. My wife and I had the burger and Irish mashed potatoes which were awesome. The potatoes had some kind of leeks in them and the good sized burger was perfectly cooked. The prices were pub prices for pub food. This was exactly as I wanted and more than I expected. The service was friendly and the place was clean. I just wished that the weather had been a bit warmer so that I could sit outside. I think that I read something in the menu about the beef being grass fed and other ingredients being local. This place nailed my requirement of, "Simple food, good ingredients, done well... is real sophistication."
