Was turned away at the door as they apparently require ID to enter a restaurant? Have eaten here before and was NEVER asked for ID unless buying a drink. After explaining we were here for food only, we were still refused service. Confusing and unnecessary business model, enjoy losing customers and profit. read more

Have to rant about the poor management at CAST AND CREW GASTROPUB We Bought our international student a gift card and at NO time did they mention that she was not allowed In with her boyfriend because they were underaged. NO SIGNS ANYWHERE indicating this. They tried to use the gift card when we went with them yesterday and they wouldn't honour it even though they could see there was $50.00 on it. Said it was a computer issue. They had to pay cash! Between them and us we spent over $240.00 there. I went today to try to get the gift card reimbursed as I gave the young couple cash to make up for it. Manager said he couldn't reimburse me because it was a gift card. That's pure BS because any credit can be done on a visa. He accused me of threatening him with going on social media. Not a threat but public awareness. DO NOT BUY A GIFT CARD FROM THIS PLACE! Bathurst is a small city, and THIS is how you treat your customers??? This is far from good or proper customer service. NO apology and no offer to try to correct the issue. WE WILL NEVER DARKEN THEIR DOOR WAY AGAIN. SPREAD THE WORD. I worked in the service industry in automotives for 37 years. If we treated our customers like this we would have not been in business!! This spot has a great menu that is changed a few times of year. They offer the widest selection of unique dishes in Bathurst, different from the regular pub food that is available elsewhere (but still with some great pub classics to offer)! I always know I will enjoy myself when I go to Cast & Crew with friends and family. read more
