The owners need to understand that they can still have the same great menu, but learn to do it "made from scratch". Bring in a real restaurant chef for two or three days to train the current staff on how to cook and how run a real made from scratch kitchen. It would even be cheaper and lower the food cost for the owners. The owners need to watch three or four episodes of Restaurant Impossible with Robert Irvine. They'll soon very quickly figure out that they need help. The lunch and dinner service(especially on Sundays) is awful. You could possibly wait up to an hour before you get a plate of food. There's no real front of the house leadership and I doubt there is in the back either. This could be an absolutely amazing restaurant, but it's still stuck, and I bet the owners won't admit it. Hire a restaurant consultant to come in and help make the badly need improvements that this place needs in order to be amazing. Embrace change. Don't be afraid of it. They changed the décor, now they need to change the rest of it. Hopefully they see this as constructive criticism and not an attack.
