This shop sells furninshing…read morefabrics from lightweight printed cottons (I buy remnants and make tea-towels/oven gloves) to heavy velvets, cottons/silks/linens.......They sell all the paraphanalia to support make-it-yourself (foam/feather and polyester cushion pads/continuous zip/header tape/linings/tassles etc) The main fabrics are cheaper than usual retail prices and there are discounts on those ordered. There are sales with part rolls at ridiculous prices (we buy them and make throws to dog-proof the sofas). Don't forget the "sale barn" (you may have to ask for it to be opened) from £6/m if you buy the roll and the coffee shop (essential to give you decision time!).

There's a great variety of teas served in fabulous chintzy teapots, along with the usual cappuccinos, lattes and hot chocolates. Best of all though are the homemade cakes- more than once I've been there when the cakes are still warm from the oven- scrumptious and always impossible to decide which one looks best!
