I found Paper Caper on Yelp here and noticed one of the reviews mention their gift wrapping service. Of course, I came into their business looking like a typical man in gym clothes, completely out of my element in this type of store. I looked more like I belong at a sporting goods or outdoors shop. Regardless of my appearance, I walked through the threshold and was greeted by what would seem your prototypical seasonal music and decor. The store had pleasant Christmas music playing and the smell was something out of Ms. Claus's potpourri lounge. The young lady I approached at the counter was polite, courteous, and to the point. She answered my questions about gift wrapping and offered multiple variations and ideas. I came away with a pleasantly wrapped present with a cute little bow for one of my wife's Christmas presents. I even gave the lady a warning that I'd be back with other presents. Through all my warnings, she smiled and said kindly that that would be no problem whatsoever. The time and value of the service and product offered is good. I'll be happy to come back again!

This wonderful little shop has recently opened it's showroom. The business has grown a lot from it's small beginnings in the owner's garage to having it's own warehouse, office space, and showroom in a little business park on Durham Road. There are a wide selection of pre-made kits to work with, but they are also happy to customize to fit your event or taste regardless of the size of your event. Wasn't always like that; they had been a reputable fixture to the neighborhood for decades, which those who live and work nearby valued. A good, well maintained selection of equipment that the staff was knowledgeable with, together with business practices that empasized service, made them a welcome asset worthy of repeat customers. Then something changed. Gone was the service and maintenance, in came ... something else. Good Riddance.
