The most flavorful dish I have ever experienced in my life. I ordered the Asada Fries mild, the only customization change I asked for was as little fat as possible because I have Arfid and can't handle the texture of fat, and let me tell you.. If there was any fat, I did not notice. I ate every last scrap in the box. Every ingredient stood out, and was made to such detail that nothing overpowered the other. The mild spice gave a perfectly warm mouth feel that enhanced the dish and allowed the full flavor to present itself with 0 pain. I tried adding the lime and found it further enhanced the dish and still did not overpower any of the taste of the individual ingredients. In all my years of living and eating as someone who values taste as one of my main joys of life, as of right now this is the pinnacle of flavor, such that if perfection truly exists, then this is the closest I have ever come to finding it. I strongly suggest everyone try this place at least once. This experience was truly life changing, and I bet you will agree once you taste the food like I did. Do remember: The ingredients on the food are tailored towards a specific taste, and any you remove or change will alter the chefs intended flavor profile for the dish in question, so I am quite happy I went with everything that came on the Asada Fries. read more

I made the mistake of hiring Jumpn Taste buds to cater my son and nieces joint 16th birthday party due to someone I know referring them to me. I should've noticed the transaction was going to be bad once I was quoted different prices for about 6 different menu items my guest would receive for 750 dollars which covered 70 people minimum. I was expecting about fifty guest and Marquis from jumpn taste buds claimed we would recieve free drinks and four hours of service. About two weeks before the party my co-host and I called Marquis to confirm date, time, menu items and pay the ENTIRE bill for service, upon calling him Marquis increased our price to 850 and said that's what he charges for four hours and it covers 65 people! I had to read him the date and time stamp of a previous message for him to honor the original pricing! On the day of the party. Marquis came at the proper time but took well over 40 minutes to "set up" and prepare food. He only had one person working the window while he cooked so for the first hour we did not receive any food! I believe he should have prepared by coming an hour early to just set up, it should not have counted against our PAID TIME. By 5pm we started having more guest trickling into the gathering but Marquis failed to communicate with myself and my co-host with how he counts orders and how things would be served. Marquis failed us, He also made orders that were not included multiple orders that apparently were not included in my package such as burritos and barrio tacos (which looks like a pizza and can probably feed two people) to the person who referred him to me. This person was NOT a co-host of my event and did not have either of our authorization to order such things. The individual should not have been able to make any orders despite their relationship without authorization from THE PAYING CUSTOMER. After only an hour of him serving I was told Marquis ran out of chicken but we only had about 15 guest at the party at that time and due to the wait time for orders being pretty extensive and exhausting no one could order more than a taco or two or a single steak fry order. The person Marquis knew (the person who referred me) was the only one who had the privilege of ordering special items behind the side of the truck while my GUEST waited 30 minutes for a single order! Two hours into the party and about 50 guest and all the food was gone! I could not understand how 750 dollars worth of food could have disappeared in two hours of him serving when we PAID for more than what we received. Instead of an explanation Marquis acted "unbothered". We paid for six menu items but instead we got skimpy tacos lacking enough steak, pork, chicken and steak fries with lots of sauce and barely any meat, not six menu items. We had to buy over $200 worth of beverages for our guest because they could not handle fulfilling the orders in a timely manner so we did not want people standing in line for thirty minutes just to get a can of soda in 91 degree weather! I'm glad we did this because they did not have enough drinks and did not let our guests know they could have a free beverage with their order. If I had not made the choice to serve beverages my experience would have been even worse with starving, thirsty people. I feel this company is horrible, their food plus customer service was horrific! Also Marquis plus his female assistant were rude, constantly snickering at guests, I kept asking if they would like cold water etc because I knew it was hot and I provided them with drinks. Overall Jumpn Taste buds is unprofessional and ran out of food. I was embarrassed and felt cheated. My guests had to go to other places to get food. I recommend going to Don Rafa if you are ever in Stockton they are the best Hispanic restaurant hands down. I completely regret booking this place. Marquis should not have been making multiple specialty items for the person who referred him to me without my or my co-hosts consent. Also I would like to suggest for the future that Marquis uses tickets! He should have given me 70 tickets to pass out to my guests and the guest should have been able to give him the ticket at the window for the food. That way I could keep a log on the orders and make sure all of my guest were fed and not cheated. When Marquis packed up he left over an hour earlier than scheduled and remember he started an hour late! I had to ask him for the beans and rice that he claimed my guest would be provided which "came with my package" yet he never served it to any of them. Upon my request, He gave me one small pan of beans and one small pan of rice (which clearly cannot feed 70 people. I also asked him for the drinks that we paid for but none of my guests received from his truck and was given about 12 drinks total. I am disappointed and will NEVER use the company for catering again! Please ladies and gentlemen do not make the same mistake I made by hiring this organization for your special event. read more
