I was extremely disappointed with the services received. The first appointment was to drop off my…read moremother of the bride dress to be shortened. The second appointment was to try on and pick up. After arriving Lisa had forgotten about my dress. A few other times she cancelled appointments with all sort of excuses. Finally after a couple months I was able to get my dress back and it was a bit too short. I discovered at the wedding that Lisa just left the threads hanging which then got caught in my shoe pulling the thread out of the hem. After paying her $85 for a hem, I now need to restitch the hem on this dress myself. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

Brides, BEWARE - This Seamstress Will Ruin Your Experience…read more If I could give -100 stars, I would. This seamstress caused me more stress, tears, and frustration than I thought possible during what was supposed to be the happiest time of my life. She was completely unprofessional, unreliable, and downright dishonest. She took me on as a client and assured me my dress would be ready well before the wedding. It wasn't. I didn't receive my dress until the day before my wedding--a nightmare no bride should ever face. On multiple occasions, after I had already taken time off work and was getting ready to drive an hour to meet her, she would cancel last-minute. Once, I wasn't even contacted--I showed up with my fiancé and child in the car, only to be told she and the bridal shop had "been trying to reach me all day." It was 5 PM. My phone had zero missed calls. She blatantly lied. To make matters worse, she told the boutique owner she had already informed me of the cancellation--which she hadn't. When I expressed how stressed I was, her response? "I have nine other dresses to do." If you can't handle the work, don't take on brides who are trusting you with something so meaningful. Her lack of transparency, last-minute cancellations, and rude attitude turned what should've been an exciting process into a complete emotional rollercoaster. Brides deserve better. Find someone who will treat your dress--and you--with the care, respect, and honesty you deserve. DO NOT recommend. -0000000/10. Lisa do better. This was embarrassing to everyone around you, BUT YOU. -- A bride who deserved better.

So I learned a harsh lesson about the differences between a professional tailor vs a dry cleaner…read moreseamstress. I had an off the rack suit altered by a seamstress but there were some new issues created. So I brought it into Rigo who was mortified with the work. He pointed out issues that I had not noticed. Although he was booked into the next month he squeezed me in since I needed it ASAP for a series of upcoming interviews. Like a previous reviewer said, the place is somewhat old school. Trades like cobblers and tailors tend to be that way as our current society has shifted toward more efficient and cheaper fashion. And as a professional who provides a specialized service you will be charged as such. But you have to consider what this is worth to you. Rigo is friendly and paternalistic (he is not shy about voicing his disappointment in your suit fit). He was very conversant and talked about his life from Hungary to all over the US and serving in the military for a short time. In conclusion, if you need a suit tailored by a professional and willing to pay for the quality service this is THE place to go. I will update this when I receive the final result.
