When I came across their website I quickly realized that they were very knowledgeable with both breeds. I had done a bit of research before hand but having interacted with them allowed me to understand the breed even more. Hershey is 10 and going strong; I believe this is tightly attributed to her linage! Both Hershey and Noya are a very important part of our lives. My partner and I could not image life without them, they each have their own personality which was pretty much on point with what we were expecting based on the the information we were given about their parents. Daniel contacted us and asked very specific questions about the Goldendoodle we were looking for. Daniel's expertise allowed us to figure out exactly what we wanted. Daniel maintained communication with us and answered all our questions (there were MANY questions). Daniel gained our trust and we decided to "Reserve" one of their beautiful Goldendoodles. There was no pressure to purchase this specific Goldendoodle. That made us very comfortable meeting this Goldendoodle. Once we met this Goldendoodle, we were convinced he was well cared for, healthy and came from a loving home and environment. This was important for us. We instantly fell in love with Maui and decided on the spot he was a great addition to our family. Maui has adapted well to his new home. This is greatly due to him being socialized and partially potty and crate trained. It's helped out tremendously!! It was a great experience adopting Maui from Doodles Los Angeles! After landing on a Havanese (after some deep searching for the best breed for myself and my…read morefamily), I found Marti of Harris Havanese in Redondo Beach. Choosing Marti was easily the best choice I could have ever made and I am forever a client of Marti's. I will never look elsewhere when adopting my next Havanese (or a breed that isn't a Havanese, for that matter). I adopted Cookie, formally Cartier, from the "C" litter. From our first phone call in Fall 2024, Marti was attentive to the details of my life and what kind of puppy temperament would be best fit for my lifestyle. She is kind, SO communicative, and the most detail-oriented, loving, and caring person/breeder. Seeing how loved these puppies are far before they are even born was constant reassurance that I made the best choice. I would receive multiple texts/pictures/videos a day when Cookie was born. So anxious and excited to get my puppy, Marti answered all of my questions and was always so reassuring and kind. Cookie came to me loving her crate (this was a game changer), being exposed to so many sights and sounds (her groomer says she is better behaved than adult dogs she's been grooming for years ), and is the epitome of a perfect puppy and I truly owe it all to Marti because she set Cookie (and the rest of her litter) up for complete success. Everyone in my life is so surprised when they hear how young Cookie is because she is truly so well behaved, has a great sense of independence, and loves to just hang with our crew. My son did a search on Google for Havenese puppies and Harris Havenese popped up. They were not…read morevery far from my home area so I called Marti and set up an appointment to see the remaining two puppies in the litter. All of the puppies were there when I visited the next day. Each one of the puppies were absolutely precious and they were happy and lively. The mother was nursing all of them . I wanted a female and there was 1 male & 1 female left. All the other puppies from the litter were spoken for. I quickly fell in love with Roxie and gave my deposit that night. I had to wait another month until the puppies were old enough to go to their new homes. Marty updated me with photos of my puppy and she also provided me important paperwork to look review. The entire process was very easy. The home where the puppies were living was very clean and orderly. Marti truly has the puppies, best interest and was so sweet and caring and accommodating to me. I had asked if she could keep the puppy for one more week because of my busy work schedule, and she was more than happy to do that. I have never purchased a dog before, but this process was very easy. My puppy is absolutely precious and everybody that meets her is obsessed with her. She is an absolute delight, and very well-behaved. I might add. I highly recommend Harris Havenese if you are thinking about getting a Havanese puppy. Marti made it very clear that she's available for any questions or concerns that I might have. She is very well educated on this breed and I had full confidence in her from the moment I spoke to her on the phone.

(I ask who it is I'm speaking with so that I can properly greet her ) she responds rudely& with an attitude "well you called me so you should know who I am" I say oh ok I do apologize but am I calling to Tropico kennels? She says yea. And then goes off on a rant that she doesn't answer her person phone often because she receives calls of people always trying to buy her house or sell her stupid shit. I said oh ok I understand but that was very unprofessional of you, I do not wish to purchase a dog off a business who doesn't know how to be professional or answer a phone call like a decent human being. So I then hung up. I would never speak to anyone that way regardless of the circumstances. Learn to be respectful and polite. Completely put me off and definitely will NOT EVER be buying a dog from this place. I'm editing my review because after a couple minutes my mom said she wanted to try and call to get information about the dogs. Because again my mom is interested in buying a puppy. So my mom calls says hello good morning I was wanting to get some information about the golden doodle puppies you might have. the same woman answers and says oh ok sure but can I call you back in a couple of minutes? My mom said sure not a problem and then the woman hung up. LITERALLY 1 minute goes by and I receive a message from this woman (I have attached a photo of the message) saying nice try! I did reply and then blocked her. Never in my life have I ever had an encounter like this. The woman then proceeds to call my mom back (I have attached a photo of the phone call as well that she called back) (as you can see she called back & the call lasted 14sec bc she was a COWARD & hung up) and say to her that she is not going to sell us any dog because I called and hung up on her, and that she should tell her daughter to not be a bitch. The woman proceeds to hang up. So I blocked her on both my mother & I's phone. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE! We were only wanting information about the puppies! Which is why my mom insisted on her trying to call because she really wants a puppy. HORRIBLE experience!

I filled out her form to submit a deposit and had a few questions. Basic things you'd like to know before agreeing to spend $5000. Such as "how much will he weigh?". "I know the type of color and coat I'd like. Does the puppy I selected fit what I'd like?" and "might you have a photo of what he would likely look like fully grown?". I get a reply with her daughters Venmo info and nothing else I kindly asked again about my questions (thinking maybe she didn't see that part) and I get a dismissive reply saying she's too busy and suggests I find another breeder. Every other breeder I've reached out to who are surely equally as busy as Lisa have had absolutely no problem answering a few simple questions before taking my money because they want you to be happy with your puppy. As that is best for the pup and the owner. Her pups are $1800 more than almost any other breeder in the country. I'm not sure why, but it's definitely not because of their outstanding customer service. 2 stars instead of 1 star because she was at least clear that she won't communicate with you until you pay up. Lisa, I took your advice and have placed a deposit with another breeder.

The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about both the pets and their owners. You can tell they're passionate about what they do. I've also used their grooming services, and they did an amazing job--my pet came back looking clean, happy, and well cared for. They really take the time to make sure each animal is comfortable. The training services are just as impressive. The trainers are patient, professional, and give really helpful guidance that actually works. Overall, this place goes above and beyond. I wouldn't trust my pet with anyone else. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality care, grooming, and training all in one place!
