Jump Around is a typical indoor play area for children and consists of inflatable structures. It is…read morevery fairly priced at $7.50 per child for free play times. According to their site, there are a lot of free play block of time. Kids love it. The area is tucked into a small corner of the Bedford Sports Complex and has 4 structures. Needless to say, the kids have a blast. There is a small seating area for parents and for kids to take a break. This area is an imitation hardwood floor. It is very slippery for people not wearing their shoes. Most of the gym floor has a felt covered padding, but this sitting area is not and it is very slick to be wearing socks on. Not very good planning on that. After speaking with someone about it they stated that they were aware and looking into having something laid down. That would be a smart choice. Also in speaking with the staff member, I was informed that they use Armor-all on the slide to keep them slick! This to me is an extreme hazard. Armor-all is an automobile surface cleaner. Looking at the label it states that it is TOXIC!!!! Granted the kids aren't licking the slides as they go down the slides but their hands are all over the slides. Then after sliding they go have snacks and potentially getting the harmful chemicals on what they are eating. Below is from the armor-all website: Eye Contact- Immediately flush eyes with running water for at least 15 minutes, keeping eyelids open. Get medical attention if irritation develops. Skin Contact- Wash affected area with soap or mild detergent and water. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Get medical attention if irritation develops. If inhaled, remove to fresh air. Get medical attention if symptoms occur. Inhalation Ingestion- If swallowed, do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical attention immediately. I personally don't think I will go there again until they fix these two major safety issues!

As I was getting ready to check out, the system then hit me with a $1000 minimum to check out. This was not made clear ANYWHERE on the website until the very last step of check out. This is a very deceptive business practice and more than slightly ridiculous for a company that purports to rent bounce houses for a child's birthday party.

I originally met this business when we were sharing space in a business park about 10 years ago…read more This is a family-run business and it's all hands on deck when party season is in full swing. I've watched, first hand, this couple use their business to teach their children how to run a business and be responsible. It turns out they also live a couple doors down from me, so I always get to see them testing new inflatables and sanitizing them after a weekend of rentals. Last year I rented a Pirate Ship for my nephew (*cough* myself *cough) for our combined birthday party. It was an absolute blast. Jeff, Rebekah and the kids set it up, showed us how to use it, and took the time to go over the paperwork and usual safety stuff with us. We had family and friends over to play. My 65 year old mother was in the bounce house right alongside her 8 year old grandson. The worst part of this whole experience was watching the bounce house leave! I've read the other reviews and here's what I have to say to them - 1) This is a family-run business. They have policies, including exclusivity agreements. 2) If you had an issue with the online check-out, rather than assuming they're trying to fleece you, first question if there's a glitch. ***Pick up the phone and call them.*** Have a conversation and see what's going on or what they're willing to do to work with you. Leaving a negative review online, simply because you didn't take the time to investigate further is on you, not them. I highly recommend this company because it's local, the service is great, the people are great, and the experience is great. 5 stars. SHOP LOCAL!
