Just went to Jump'n Joey's for the first time yesterday. Overall it was a pretty positive experience, although after having a kid that's been in quarantine lockdown for the better part of 2 years, some of the games were very loud. The party area looks fun, and the entrance rates are certainly reasonable. There are plenty of games to win tickets from, and the bouncy areas look fun, big, and bouncy. The staff was super friendly. We had an issue with the very first thing my kid wanted to play. They took time to solve the problem and comped us a few tokens. There were a few things that didn't work or weren't on, but that's normal for any place like this. We didn't try the snack bar, but maybe next time. If I have one knock, it's that there isn't even a single sign to suggest people stay masked right now. It was only when I left that I noticed not a single person was wearing a mask. I normally wouldn't care, but with Covid numbers at an all time high locally, at least putting up a sign to suggest it would make me feel better. I plan on going back sometime, preferably when there are hardly any people there for now. read more

They are not as friendly as suggested on their wedpage and some reviews. They were sort of hateful without reasons to be. The do have a lot of blow ups which my grandchildren loved. The food was too expensive for what they offer. It was OK clean but could have been much better. I can't remember exactly what the in and out of the facility was but it wasn't acceptable to me. Sort of like cheaper to get in and then because of rules no outside drinks, meals, you are forced in a way to eat there so the kids get there monies worth. Basically it's a rip off but our grandchildren enjoyed their day and that was we wanted was for them to have a lot of fun. read more

Jump in Joeys is a place that my daughters and I went on Saturday in Bloomington Indiana. It was very crowded but it was pretty good it's average I must say they do have about four bouncy house things and it's real easy to lose your kid with so many kids run around all anxieties, through the roof because you can't see home and there's big kids jumping around everywhere a little kid is it and on my daughters group kind of bored we're just doing the bouncy's after about 30 minutes and all the games and things cost extra money so we were already pretty tapped out on money so it's an OK place once you pay your money to get in I wish some of the Games were included with the money just to get in the door. This is such a great place for kids under 11. It's only $5 to get in (adults are free, but must be accompanied by a child) and they get to play on all the bounce houses and climbing areas for free. There are also a lot of age-appropriate video games and ticket games. There's a little reasonably-priced snack bar in case they get hungry /thirsty. read more

Came here with our great niece to burn off some energy and the place did not disappoint! She is three and was able to do most games/bounce areas and loved them. A very nice surprise was the pizza-holy cow that pizza was EXCELLENT!! Ordered pepperoni and sausage, it was the best pizza I have had in a very long time! We came here with several different family members and had a pretty good time. The age of kids were 12, 9, 9, 9, 7, and 3. I think all of the kids had a great time. 12 is probably the age limit for kids to have fun on the bounce houses. They are kind of small and a little childish, but still fun. I think 6-9 is a great age for these inflatables. Video games were a nice variety. There weren't any games for adults unless you consider skee ball or basketball adult games. Most were made for younger kids. The games were also a little pricey. Most of them were 50 cents (two tokens) with some of them being $1.00. None of them seemed particularly new either. This place is horribly understaffed. There was basically one teenaged girl working the whole place: the front desk, the snack bar, the change and token machine. It took forever to actually get anything. Even the bell on the snack counter has some kind of silencer on it, rendering it mostly ineffective to get the attention of the staff. We just had a birthday party for my son there today and the owner was exceedingly easy to work with. I loved that everything was there that we needed but if you wanted to bring in something special, like an extra cake, then that wasn't a problem. I think their package prices are appropriately priced and although the price tag may seem high, for everything that you get, it's really amazing. Pros: party rooms/packages, owner, easy Room for improvement: maybe a bit more exit security/safety, maybe add something healthy(ish) on the menu even just hummus and carrots or bananas or something (could also be good for younger siblings) read more

Honestly, yes this place is a fun time for your kids ... Big inflatable slides, arcade games, it's a no brainer they will enjoy it. But there's definitely some issues that come along with it. 1. Adults can't help kids up and down these huge slides ... So a staff member (if there's one even available, is the one going to get your kid if they are stuck in an inflatable maze that they can't climb up) - I think it's an insurance policy thing, but it's frustrating . 2. The arcade games are almost always broken . Every time we have gone, a game has either ate our tokens or not given us tickets ... Again you have to flag down the unavailable staff to assist you. (And the tokens aren't exactly the cheapest either) Everything in general is kind of over priced ... But on a positive note ... We go on the weekdays at opening and it's never busy (normally it's just 2 other moms with their kids) I like that, it's like our own private carnival or something.....and their bathrooms are very clean . read more

This was a surprisingly fun place. I took my nephew (9) and niece (6) here and they had a lot of fun dunning around in the indoor bouncy castles and playing games. They had been here before and knew how to rack up the tickets. It was very clean on the play floor and the bathrooms. Jump-N-Joey's has a snack bar, but I didn't get anything there, so I don't know what was sold or the cost of anythung. Apparently, this is a one of a kind, family run spot. My 3 year old had a great time. The entry fee is very reasonable. The cost of coins is a little high and ticket output is low. Cost of prizes are high as well (example: 10 tickets for a individual pack of sweet tarts that contained 3 candies). The pizza isn't the g best, but not bad for it not being a pizza joint. If you don't like constant noise, this isn't the place for you. There are constantly sounds of children, arcade games, and the blowers for the inflatables. read more

I brought my 1-year-old thinking we might stay for like 20 minutes... that turned into 2 hours. On slow days parents have the option of jumping too and I LOVED that because my son is very timid on his own. We both had a blast and slept like a baby afterwards. Well worth the $10 for both of us. The only constructive criticism that I have is that the toddler area looks like it could use some updating as the blow up animals were somewhat cracked (inevitably) to usage. I would happily pay more per person to see this updated. read more

Not too expensive if you're just going to jump and slide. The arcade games and ensuing prizes seemed a little steep, but then again, I can't say I frequent the things, so perhaps they're in line with other similar establishments. 2.5 and 7.5 year old BOTH had a blast, and we were all grateful for them to burn off some energy as the weather turns cold. We're not from the area and were headed on a long car ride home directly from Jump-n-Joey's. My son passed out within 10 minutes of pulling out of the lot. Wonderful place for kids to have a few hours of fun! The admission is affordable and they offer a military discount. We went at a slow time and basically had the place to ourselves. 3-4 bounce houses with slides, a jungle gym, and plenty of arcade games to keep the little ones busy. The facility is fine, the food is fine (overpriced) and overall, the kids might even have a good time for the money you spend. My beef is with the old man (former Gestapo) walking the floor, spraying cleaner on the various surfaces. My wife and I had taken our two children, one older and one todler, to play after going out to eat. Keep in mind that other parents are enjoying the inflatables right there with their kids, sliding and bouncing all around. I noted walking in that you weren't supposed to slide down head-first, so I didn't. I slid on my bottom like a good boy. When I reached the bottom, however, there was a small hole to fit through so I spun around and started to come out head-first, trying to exit the ride. That's where the old curmodgeon swooped in. "Don't go down head first!" he croaked what could very easily have been his last words. "I didn't," I responded politely and honestly. "I saw what you did!" Um, no, he didn't, otherwise he wouldn't have hobbled over to hassle me. I took the high road, despite my rising temp and redenning face, and took a seat on a bench by my wife. Despite the fact that I relented and didn't pursue an argument, the old man hovered like the specter of death which likely was following him around. At one point he approached again, I thought for a second to apologize for being such a presumptive jerk. No such luck. "You aren't even supposed to be on the rides without socks," he croaked. I didn't respond, instead opting to give him the same bland 'whatever you say you worthless tosser' look I reserve for TSA agents and rude people in general. He stood, waiting for a response, his crooked finger wavering in the air in front of me. I didn't bite. Then my daughter asked me to slide with her again. I had changed after work, and had some dress socks in the car. I decided to swallow my pride, let it go and join my daughter in her fun. Headed towards the door, I find the old man blocking my path, as if to inquire where I was going. Maybe they have a no pass-outs rule. "I have my socks in the car, my daughter wants me to slide with her," I explained. "Oh no," he says. "You are too big. It's for kids only." "There are other parents riding the rides with their kids." "That's only for when the kids are small." At this point my daughter enters our vision and I point to her. "That's my three-year-old," I explain. "She looks old enough to do it on her own," he answers, and apparently his judgement is final. For a little background, Im in a risk management person, an elected official, a volutneer, and on and on. I don't break rules, and I don't take risks. Nothing I was doing or did warranted being treated in that manner. I was polite, deferring and never balked. That night I vowed not only would I never spend another cent in that facility, but I would also write my first ever Yelp review, and it was going to be nasty. Consider a promise made a promise kept, Jump-n-Joey's. And if you know what's good for your business you'll take the old man and put him in back, maybe where he can use his red-hot hate for fun and excitement as a method for pumping hot air into your inflatables. PS- He also grabbed another little girl by the arm as she was running by, jerking her to a stop and yelling at her for not having socks on. It's not my beef, so I'll leave it at that, but I can by-God promise if he'd laid a hand on my daughter you'd have known it that night. read more

Dang this place is overstimulating and stressful to toddlers and adults alike. There are many things to do. All of them are loud and blinky and bouncy. I guess kind of what you'd imagine a place like this to be.... But we left feeling more stressed than as if we'd had a fun time. There's a toddler bouncy castle area which is kinda cool. It has different animals inside for the kids to touch and look at (they're inflatable too). My daughter liked that. There's a kinda cool light up piano thing that I did not understand, but she seemed to like anyway. The game where you shoot ducks with water is fun and there's skeeball, which was a hit, especially once my daughter and her friend started running up the alley to place the balls in the holes. So cute. And the staff didn't complain which I was impressed by. I'm sure they've seen it before. The tickets you win after each game can be counted by a machine which was a big time saver for us, and my daughter got a very cute ice cream cone toy which she is still enjoying a lot. There's room to run around and bounce and get out your energy, which is great for terrible weather days.... But it's so overstimulating that I think I'll head to the Wonderlab or library instead. read more

We were told that we could have my 4 year old nieces party here. we payed to have a party package and we were very excited to see her have a special day of fun. So day of her birthday we arrive we get everything ready only to be told a party package does not buy us the right to have a birthday party. We were told we could not have outside cake. We were fine with this. What we were not told is that we could not have presents. We were given 5 minutes to remove the presents from the building. Never again! read more

While the cost to get in is reasonable the staff and management leave much to be desired. Our one granddaughter is large for her age and the father of the owner told her to get out of one of the inflatables because it was only for toddlers. They do not have all of the rules posted and twice during one visit they disciplined my other granddaughter for doing things she wasn't supposed to do. Other kids were doing the same things and the rule sign did not list the two actions as being not allowed. We had been there numerous times before without being approached about what the girls were doing. We will not return. read more

Absolutely awful. The concept is good but the price of admission is too high and not always the same. We went today and were charged twice the price we were charged the same day last week. When I asked at the counter the older lady literally told me that it basically depended on who was working the counter as to what they charged. And this young girl today wanted to charge me for my 1 year old who cannot do anything except one tiny little flat bounce house in the corner! And she couldn't even do that without getting hurt because she kept getting trampled by older kids who were in it!! It has a sign outside that says "Toddlers Only" but no one seemed to care and just let their bigger kids in it anyway. My 1 year old daughter got knocked over, trampled, and kicked by two kids who looked to be around 6 or older. No one was supervising it even though it clearly says ON the house that it must be supervised. I was there watching my child, but no one was else was watching theirs. Plus she could only play for a few minutes because my older kids wanted to be on the bigger houses at the other end of the building, but yet I was supposed to pay for her 5 minutes of pain in the "toddler" house that was missing all its stuff and full of older kids. None of these gigantic houses were being supervised! My 4 year old also kept getting knocked down and trampled by kids bigger and older than him. He ended up crying at one point because he got hurt. Theres a sign on the wall that says its for kids 11 and under but there were kids older than that knocking everyone out of the way. There's even equipment just sitting out around the back of these house where the kids can just run up and play with it! Totally unsafe. Another bounce house they moved to the corner has two exits on one end, but if you take the wrong exit you get stuck between it and the giant slide next to it. My four year old got knocked out that exit and got stuck between the two! He was screaming and crying for help and all you could see was his head - we had to pull him out of there! They didn't make us sign a release (like it says on the wall that they do) so they're lucky none of my kids were seriously injured or we possibly would've/could've sued. A serious injury IS going to happen in there at some point due to the negligence of the owners by not staffing it appropriately and from parents just letting their kids run wild! I had a talk with the manager and I said at minimum they need one person on each end supervising these things and I was told that if they paid to staff for that then they would need to charge at least $12 or more per kid to cover it. That's crap! The Children's Museum of Indianapolis doesn't even charge much more than that! The Wonderlab here in Bloomington is only $8 which is the same as the price that Jump N Joeys is now. It's not worth it to go to Joeys over the Wonderlab because not only is it the price the same - you have the pay in addition for the over priced games!!! And the prices are way too many tickets for something so little. It's all Dollar Tree junk that takes $20 worth of tokens to even get. Not that you HAVE to play games, but what kid doesn't throw a fit to get to do so? And if all you're doing is the same 5-6 bounce houses they're over it in about an hour. So not worth $8 a kid plus the pain and hassle. We could spend the whole day at the Wonderlab for the same price! So we won't be back... Such a loss. It was a good idea if it were just ran appropriately. We need a good place for kids to play where they can be SAFE! read more
