It used to be run by a really lovely red headed Italian called Tony. He used to make fabulous chips and gave you an extra big scoop in your single. I really miss that Macaris now it is down in the crappy part of the village where no one goes really, tony is gone and the food just is not what it used to be. I was kinda proud of Macaris being the best chipper on the Southside (in many Dundrum local opinions) but now it's just reduced to average normal chipper, nothing to get excited about, woe is me....
