I was blown away to find coffee roasted and brewed in Dubuque that rivals the likes of coffee from Seattle, where I've lived the last 7 years. I travel a lot and try coffee everywhere I go, I've never seen a green coffee bean dispensary to select the bean you want roasted. This is very cool and it's on my list for next time. I used to drive through the school house location every weekend to get their Bagel Bombs, but they took them off the menu. I stopped going for several years once those were gone. But the double-sided drive through location by Wendy's has become a before-work stop for me on days that I don't make coffee at home. Their drinks are on the better side of average, and prices are within range of other comparable spots in town. What keeps me coming back is the awesome service. I'm a Montana boy, we love coffee in Montana. Probably since we're close to Seattle. But the further east you go from Montana the worse the coffee gets. There's also a lack of locally owned coffee stands. I've been all over the Midwest and this is the only really good barista in the Heartland. I may of been hallucinating when I went there, so take this review with a grain of salt. Daughter drove me up after a early am procedure at Mercy. After fasting for two days and then the sleepy time medication, I was ready. I had a triple shot small americano. Great coffee. Technically espresso and hot water, but really great. The sausage burrito was good, but not outstanding. And no hot sauce available. Fail Jumble is a double sided drive up, so don't plan on a pleasurable Saturday am spent reading the paper. If Starbucks coffee is a three, Jumble is a five. I stopped by here a couple of Sundays ago with my wife for our morning coffees. Since Jumble Coffee is a drive thru coffee shop, there isn't too much to say about it. It has two windows to pull up to with menus showing you your options. Whenever my wife and I pulled up we actually had a hard time seeing the menu and so both ended up ordering our usual Americanos. After a short wait we had the coffee in our hands and were on our way. My Americano here was a pretty solid version of the drink as it had a strong flavor that was smooth without any bitterness at all. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. It is always convenient to go through a coffee drive through place and my coffee was pretty good too. Best coffee in Dubuque!! They are super nice and fast with your orders. Would like for them or the city to extend the drive-through at their JFK location. Would be better for the city and their business. I do drive past if the line is too long as I don't want to get a ticket for blocking traffic. Fix that problem, and they could build an empire off of that one location. The new location drive-through clearly wasn't tought out very well and needs a redesign. read more

This is not your typical coffee store. It reminds me of a small school house. Very unique and hospitable when you walk in. Good place for a and having a casual or business meeting. Prices are fair and the coffee drinks are of good quality. I would highly recommend this place if you want to meet people for coffee or happen to be on the outskirts of Dubuque. read more

Waited forever. Finally gave the person ahead of us their coffee. Made eye contact with us. Looked away, and continued conversation with person ahead of us. Tried to bring it up with them, and was treated like absolutely unreasonable pieces of human trash for expecting to be served coffee. Shouldn't have to wait for them to finish chit chatting. It wasn't wrapping up a conversation, it was continuing a rather long discussion, as engines were running and fuel was being wasted. Rude, inconsiderate, inefficient. NEVER again. I would rather have gas station coffee than be treated like that. read more

I absolutely love Jumble!! I prefer it over Starbucks and love there frappes. They are always so nice when you order and answer any questions you have. They just try and make your day better when you walk through the door. I love there tree house and I just love the atmosphere as you step in. They serve up my Breve with perfectly carmelized cream and no burnt espresso. If I could justify driving to Dubuque every day to buy one, I would. Excellent. I went to the Asbury location and was really pleased with their latte, Banana Nut muffin, and souffle. I'm happy they opened this location--it's super cute and walkable. And again, the food was DELICIOUS. It tasted homemade (I think it's made in house) and didn't have that preservative-laden aftertaste of most food that you buy outside the home.
