Incredibly good value and great hairdressers for all the family - whoever you have to do your hair always does a brilliant job. The last couple of times Gillian has cut my hair (remember to pronounce her name with a 'hard' G) and she is lovely, always friendly and chatty.
You sometimes have to wait if there's a bit of a queue but there are always at least two people cutting hair, and quite often it's dry cuts, so it won't be for long.
The salon is inside the indoor market opposite The Galleon Centre, just 5 minutes walk from the town centre.
Dry cuts are from £10, cut and blow dry £22, wet cut from £15, shampoo and set £15; there are different perms available, foil mesh highlights and tinting. Cheaper rates for OAPs and between Monday and Thursday. read more
