I'm 26 now, and was sort of miserably self conscious about bags under my eyes for years. I tried everything; creams, tea bags, YES I SLEPT ENOUGH (people telling me to sleep more got really old). I just had these natural fat pockets under my eyes, and I definitely didn't want to inject anything into my face. That's when I discovered Artful Surgery, and Dr. Lee talked me through everything. The process sounded a little scary, but she was so reassuring the entire time. She would ask me if I was sure, and didn't try and talk me into anything. She also explained how the healing process would actually be pretty quick, and it was! Even in the surgery room she checked one last time that I wanted to go through with it. I'm so glad I did! I was in bed for about a week with painkillers and ice on my eyes, and it hardly hurt at all!! I was a little puffy for a while, but tried putting makeup on after two weeks. It took a sec to figure out my new correct makeup (I had been using mega concealing stuff like Tart, which didn't work for my new eyes). But over time, the results just got better and better. The best part is, I just don't NOTICE it anymore. I don't look drastically different, and I still have natural creasing, but I don't get asked if I'm tired any more. And looking at photos, I feel more confident!! After a year, it looks even better than I could have hoped, and I'm so happy I did this and went with Dr. Lee. This is not how you talk to patients, especially when they are already putting themselves in a vulnerable setting like a medical aesthetics office.
