The Yoga Space: Minimalist, with warm wood tones, all sun-lit by a giant oval skylight overhead. The Class (Flow with Bailey Kai): This was a music-driven, cue-based flow that works for all levels. Bailey's teaching style is beginner-friendly for anyone who is looking to explore yoga in a beautiful setting with great music. She guides the movement first, then names the pose in English. It allows the body to learn easily, which is a great for new students. The class unfolded as one long, continuous flow that gradually built. Near the end, we were offered an optional peak pose of Birds of Paradise. As we down-regulated with grounded stretching, the playlist slipped into a moody, hypnotic feel of "Want It" by Mk.gee (gentle, inward, & beautifully timed: https://youtu.be/ZXVCmYWCOwI?si=U1tWC20pIELUMylK), followed by grounded stretching and savasana. I brought a friend (one of my favorite yoga teachers;-), and she appreciated some of Bailey's creative cueing. Always a good sign when a teacher enjoyed class. This Class Is Perfect For: - Beginners who want clear, movement-based guidance - Intermediate students who love a smooth, continuous flow that gradually builds, with add-ons and a peak pose - Anyone wanting music-driven movement without added heat in a beautiful space Final Take: OPEN with Bailey Kai delivers an accessible, long flow in a beautiful sun-lit space. Perfect when you want to generate your own heat and move in a steady, continuous rhythm. Practical Notes: Street parking nearby and a $5 lot across the street for OPEN clients. Mats and towels provided. Water station, bathroom, sauna, and cold plunge available.

The feng shui of the space was minimalistic, earthy, and serene. Mats and yoga blocks were provided. Julia was our instructor--easy to follow, with the perfect tone for yoga--and one of my favorite parts was how she made hands-on adjustments to improve both form and experience. During Savasana, she made an adjustment and I literally had this vision: multiple silhouettes of the same figure, each a different color, warped and scattered everywhere. As I settled into the adjusted pose, the silhouettes began merging into one grounded unified body made of a bright white light. I then realized that was my experience individual form. It was such a beautiful moment, and I didn't realize yoga could do that for me. The funny thing is, it was the most basic pose--you're just lying down--but the simple adjustment to my shoulders and back had such a powerful effect on my mind and body. My friend, who I went to the class with, noticed the change in me afterward--like something had unlocked--and appreciated this new aspect of my demeanor and essence. Honestly, it was one of the most impactful yoga experienced i've ever had. Thank you, Julia and Love yoga.

Summary: A soulful, fire-lit Saturday experience blending heat, movement, ritual, sound, and…read morecommunity. First Impression: Check-in happens at a reception desk, where you're given a small chip to place at the head of your mat for the teacher to collect. It's a simple ritual, but it immediately signals that you're stepping into something more mindful than just another workout. The Space: The studio feels clean, modern, and calm. The foyer is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room to sit, chat, or simply linger between classes. The Class (Heated Power Vinyasa): Beau opened class by sharing that we're approaching a Leo fire moon and closing out the Year of the Snake, a time to burn through what no longer serves us and have the courage to be seen and shine. It was intriguing and immediately set the tone for the practice, especially as we moved through both the external heat of the room and our own internal fire. We sealed the intention with a collective Om, and the flow unfolded naturally from there. The sequence built steadily and rhythmically, moving us around the mat in a fluid, dance-like way. Crow, frog stand, reverse dancer, and options to kick out in Cross-Body Mountain Climber were woven in beautifully. It was high energy without feeling frantic, and the class honestly flew by. As we moved through the heat and effort, it felt natural to visualize shedding layers that no longer serve us. As the class came to a close, it felt like something had been worked through, not just worked out. We ended with a collective Om and an invitation to stay for the next class. The Class (Heated Yin with Sound Bath): The transition into Yin was seamless. Jenny from My Daily Harmony (https://www.instagram.com/mydailyharmony/) joined with sound bowls layered over beautiful music, including James Blake's I Need a Forest Fire. Beau kept the poses grounded and supportive, allowing the sound, music, and light in the room to do their magic. I was completely carried away by the experience. The Teacher: Beau is clearly a dancer, and that shows throughout her teaching. The sequencing had a natural rhythm, and the class felt like a fluid dance rather than a series of poses. She cues in English, her pacing is steady and rhythmic, and she creates a container where strength, playfulness, and release all come through. Overall Experience: After Yin, Beau brought us back and invited everyone outside the yoga room for tea (she personally made) and oracle cards. We gathered around a table, pulled cards, shared the guidebook, reflected, and chatted. It was playful, warm, and a moment of connection that echoed the themes of release, courage, and authenticity woven through the entire experience. The Vibe: Grounded, intentional, and communal. Movement, meaning, and connection come together naturally. Practical Notes * Front desk check-in with mat chip * Heated classes * Private showers/Bathrooms that double as changing rooms * Lockers and cubbies * Validated Parking

It felt a little nostalgic in a good way (like a quiet, reverent Sunday morning space). The yoga room is open and uncrowded, so you can choose where to place your mat and feel comfortable settling in. Before class, Angela personally introduced herself and checked in about injuries and/or needs, which immediately created a feeling of care & safety. The class itself is an intermediate-level, non-heated yoga flow. Angela guided us through a gentle opening that gradually built into a longer, flowing sequence, and then invited us to move through part of the flow independently, which happened seamlessly. From there, we softened into slower stretching and eventually into savasana. Angela's voice is warm, expressive, and soothing. She set a beautiful tone of safety, presence, and intention from the beginning and gently checked back in with those intentions throughout class. The sound healing during savasana was beautiful. Angela played crystal singing bowls and harmonized with the music, and the acoustics were so balanced and immersive that it felt like being surrounded by sound rather than simply listening to it. It was incredibly peaceful. (I didn't want it to end!) Overall vibe: The whole class had a beautifully crafted, almost cinematic feel to it. With the natural light, the pristine sound, and Angela's warm voice through the mic, it felt less like co-creating the space through breath and presence and more like being held inside a carefully designed experience from start to finish. It's a bit different than a more organic, co-created class...enjoyable in its own way. Practical notes: Free covered garage parking, elevators to the second-floor studio, lockers and showers available. Also, this studio provides free offerings to the community as well;-)

There is a lot more time and space to get into each posture, and I find it more therapeutic. This studio is verrrrrry hot - higher temp and humidity than other places I've been to (gets to about 115 in the room), so keep that in mind. You're encouraged to take breaks as you need them. I find the intense heat to be better for my muscles and cardio. They offer both 60- and 90-min. yoga classes. I was intimidated by the 90-min at first, but believe it or not, I found it better to start with 90 min. as there's more rest in between and you can go at a slower pace. I do the 60-min. classes during the weekday mornings, and I enjoy them a lot but they are definitely at a faster clip. I love the other practitioners that come here - there's a nice diversity in age, yogi-ness, etc. There's no competitive or show-off energy at all. The instructors are super fabulous. I practice the most with Challyn, Creston and Angel for yoga, but I've taken Rebecca's and Charlotte's classes, and they're all great. I also do hot mat pilates here with Michele in the mornings, and she's amazing. Katie and Shira teach pilates too, and they're awesome as well. Some logistics: the parking lot side to use is the preschool one, right off Washington (there's street parking too). The entrance to the studio is through the alley and on the right, past the back of the restaurant next door. Weekends get quite crowded, especially the 9:00am classes, so get there early for a good spot.

Classes are silent except for the teachers. Breathwork is incorporated at the beginning and end of the course. Classes are hot and challenge you mentally and physically. The room was extremely hot, and I had no idea how I made it through. Probably thanks to the fantastic instructor, Amanda. I told her this was my first time doing Bikram Yoga, and she gave me positive feedback, corrections, and scaling options throughout the session. The studio is small but has everything you need: filtered water, bathrooms, showers, and free parking. The entrance is through the alley- park your car and then walk back to the side of the building. You will see stairs on your right side. The crowd here is a little older than other studios I've been to. It didn't bother me, but it's something to consider if you are looking for people around your age. Those older ladies can follow through with the movements better than I do, so I have nothing but respect for them!

She'd show us the poses and then she'd walk around to adjust our forms as needed. I like that she gave us different options and modifications depending on everyone's comfort and skill level. The studio felt clean and spacious with artsy décor all around. They have blocks, blankets and straps for you to borrow. You can also rent a mat for $2, though most people brought their own. Overall, I enjoyed the class and it was a challenging and rewarding practice. My only wish is that they would not overpack the classes. I thought 20 people fit comfortably, but then 10 more people walked in and I felt that there was not enough space for everyone to transition between poses safely. We were so close to each other that we would accidentally kick or hit one another.
