But I was pleasantly surprised during my first trip. They were packed when we arrived for a weekday lunch but after a 10 minute wait a table opened up inside. The service was slow but delightfully friendly. My wife and I both ordered the duck and it was meaty and delicious. The kids both got brochette, (shish kabobs). They were a little rare, the standard way for French to serve beef, but were delicious. And the meals were so generously sized that only two of us were able to finish ours. My only complaint would be the toilets. The women's didn't have a toilet seat and the men's had a seat but it was cracked. That offered the user the rather interesting opportunity to sit down, open up the gap in the cracked seat and then shift position and close the gap, thereby pinching a spectacularly delicate, little patch of booty. So if you hear someone squeal and leap up off the seat in the men's room, now you know why.

The upscale restaurant is on the lower level. The concierge at your hotel or you can call & they will pick you up, no charge We were at hilton Orly. Best meal we had in the 2 months in UK & France. Starters husband had oysters, €18 he loved them I had calamari grilled with onions in olive oil, €16 they were great. Next came the tomato salad €8, a fill plate of sliced tomato, lettuce in middle, light vinaigrette over it. I had Dos Morue, Cod with mashed potatoes that had chorizo in it. Freshest cid ever. He had Mussels, Moules Mariniere, more than he could eat. Each had 1/2 bottle of wine - good list. Best secret place around. Server was Rudolphe, the best. Suggested the mains for us & he was right on.
