This experience was by far the worst of my entire wedding. Kim, the owner's wife, was requested to DJ our wedding and it was beyond awful. It started out okay but I quickly realized that she was slurring her words and was acting erratically. She would randomly make weird noises in to the mic, talk over the music (on the rare occasion she was actually playing music), also talked incessantly all evening, would leave 10-30 seconds between songs (except of course when she stopped the songs right in the middle to play a different one), and also played at least three songs more than once. Every single guest came up to me to comment about her behavior. I actually have hours of video that was taken by my guests because they couldn't believe what they were seeing. It basically became the running joke of the reception. The other vendors I worked with also came up separately to tell me how sorry they were about her behavior and tell me in all of their years in the business they had never seen anything like this. As music is such a huge part of a reception, it goes without saying that we were beyond crushed to see a night we had looked forward to for over a year ruined by someone who couldn't handle themselves in a professional manner. Please do yourself a favor and stay far, far away. The owner has now taken to harassing my wedding planner, for some very odd reason, who was one of the best decisions we made!!! read more
