Smoothie consistency is not consistent, and customer service could use some work.. there is a young worker here who I used to see often. That person is rude and not pleasant at all. It's off putting and is the main reason I have not come back here. The ginger shots here are also very watered down. I wouldn't recommend. First time here to get my 91 year old mom a smoothie since she is "never hungry" ha! Spoke with Paul the owner and he told me how difficult having this sort of business is because they rely on hot weather to bring in customers and living in Huntington Beach it never really gets too hot and the sun never makes an appearance early until late July early August. Said he opened in Phoenix and it was too hot there and people didn't want to come out of their homes. Paul said with minimum wage being $20 an hour it's difficult as well because he has to adjust his prices accordingly. I love Juice It Up! Not sure if I have a favorite, they're all good but I usually get Ever Green or Strawberry Wave. Last week they released their limited-time summer Sandía Loca and Strawberry Lemonade Twist Smoothies so I tried them. Both are so refreshing but the Sandía Loca is my favorite, I love anything with watermelon. I would go out of my way to come here. Strawberry Wave is sweet but not overly sweet, which I love. Ever Green is tarty, which I also love. When I'm with my boyfriend, we like to get one of each and switch off, you get the best of both worlds! Sandía Loca has Tajin in it so it tastes like a watermelon Tajin candy, I love it! It's tangy, salty and barely spicy. Strawberry Lemonade Twist is delicious and refreshing, you taste strawberry and lemonade! Small is a good size for me but if I'm really craving a smoothie, sometimes I'll get a Medium. I've always liked coming here more than Jamba Juice. I think it's because the drinks here are sweeter whereas the drinks at Jamba are tangier and a bit too sour to my liking, although still good. They are located in a shopping plaza with a large free parking lot, I had no issues finding parking. I called ahead to place an order for pick up, took me 5 minutes to drive there and it was ready when I came to pick it up! The service is friendly. They have a couple of tables inside and outside if you want to sit and hang out. Inside and outside is casual but modern, love that the walls inside are green, my favorite color! Price is very fair, it doesn't seem like prices have gone up too much with inflation. Another thing that's nice is that it's relatively healthy, especially if you get a small, split a medium/large with someone or just save half for later. It's a good way to get in your fruits and vegetables if you're not a huge fruit/vegetable eater. You just have to keep in mind of the amount of sugar/calories in one drink/bowl and don't over consume since it's easy to do. read more

From the app, you can order for pick up now or pick up at a later time. For some reason, the now option shows 25 minutes which is pretty long to make a smoothie. I ordered the Chili Lime Mango smoothie. Got to the store. It's located in a strip mall next to Skaters Bros. Lots of parking. My order was ready early being chilled in a refrigerator until I got there. I didn't think it would take 25 min to make a smoothie. I've had chili mango before and they're typically super sweet. This one was more tart (the lime). It did have a kick to it but not in a spicy way but tasted like there was lemon grass in it (if that makes any sense). Either way, it was really good. Okay okay let me being honest ! Açaí bowls are one of my favorite foods on this planet! I started having them back in 2014 when I first started my college days. I had a juice it up on campus at Northridge and I absolutely fell in love with the flavors of açaí especially mixed with bananas and strawberries on top! It was my weakness for awhile. Came for a visit today to this Juice it Up location and preferred two classic smoothies; Chili Lime Mango and the California Cooler. The store is currently following all rules for keeping their stores clean and sanitized as well as following all rules for no contact and social distancing! There was a few people ahead of us but the line kept moving and the employees were all on the ball, friendly and helpful. The workers doesn't know how to smile. When our juice was done , it was just left at the counter. We had to look to see if it was what we ordered. Walked outside my daughter took a sip and she started to spit and grabbed something off her tongue. It was a piece of metal wire of some sort! I brought it back in and showed the manger (I think he's the manager because he wasn't in an apron). He held the metal wire and just looked at me. Didn't even say sorry or offered a new drink. I just told him that they need to be extra careful next time and of course he said okay. Walked out and that $10.00 cup of juice went straight to the trash! We stopped by for a quick açaí bowl and juice when we were in the neighborhood and I noticed their shop. I don't love the taste of the water in Southern California so I was really thankful to get my first (non alcoholic) big beverage in several days. I like that we were able to pick the toppings for the açaí bowl because that's usually not an option in the Seattle area. It wasn't the best açaí bowl I've ever had but it was pretty enjoyable and easy to share with my husband. One of the cashiers was also extra awesome because several times he came up with different ways to ring up modified drink orders which would be cheaper than if he had just typed in what the customer told him they wanted. read more

This location used to be down the way (more towards balboa area) and they moved it over here. I went here on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy. There were 5-6 people in front of me. The line went very quickly and I ordered in just a couple minutes. I didn't have to wait long at all .... the service was very quick! I ordered a small mango mania (my usual at juice it up) and it tastes amazing. I also needed help ordering a smoothie without anything dairy and the guy I ordered from did a great job helping me. Juice it Up is so much better than Jamba Juice! They have the best smoothies! Everything tastes fresher, with less artificial fruits and sugars to me than Jamba Juice. Love the lava flow smoothie with energy boost. The pitaya smoothie is also delicious and good for you. Their acai and pitaya bowls are very good. So this review is only for their acai bowl. I came here on a Wednesday, enticed in after some shopping next door because of their happy hour acai bowl sign. $5 from 4-8 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. I'd compare this place to jamba juice and the like, just not on the same scale. The acai bowl was fine, but the acai is basically a smoothie they put in a bowl and cover with the toppings: blueberries, strawberries, banana, granola, and honey. I'm not a huge fan of the smoothie base bowls. They get soupy if you don't eat them right away. $5 is a decent price for what it is, but if you're looking for a quality acai bowl, to Blue Bowl. read more
