When we were there it was very hot and we had quite a long (and uphill) walk to the car ahead of us. We were looking for some quick refreshment to recharge our batteries, but most of the shops on the strip near the beach were either cafes or of the souvenier variety. Luckily we stumbled across 5 Frutta & Gelato. 5 Frutta & Gelato offers a big selection of smoothies, juices, and gelato. I have to say, the menu is sooo enticing after sweating it out and baking on the beach. The pricing was a bit steep, but on the other hand, they were the only smoothie/juice shop in the area, so I guess they can set the prices they want. The only downside I could think of was that the shop was tiny and there was just 1 worker there. So, it was a bit of a squeeze amongst sweaty tourists and a 5 or 6 minute wait.
