Harpe's Dance was able to help us out, they paired us with our instructor Liz, and it was a match made in heaven. She helped us select from a few of our favorite songs and put together an adorable swing dance to Ray Charles' "Hallelujah, I Love Her So". Working with Liz was an absolute pleasure. We spent every lesson laughing and having a great time, and we always left breathless and with huge smiles on our faces. At our wedding, everyone was blown away when we started twirling and twisting instead of the slow revolve everyone expected. We received so many compliments and we'll be talking about this for years to come. We can't wait to come back for weekly classes, who knew that we could dance? Liz knew!

I had not heard of AJ tht I can remember but after seeing him and reading some info in his bio he is quite an accomplished musician in his own right. If you are expecting to hear straight up Jim classics you will but they have his own twist. Now as for the theater. Very nice accoustics. Really not a bad seat except when you get to the balcony. There is no way you can sit there for 2 hrs and enjoy yourself. The seats are so tight and close it's like your in the other persons lap. Luckily it wasn't sold out and I was able to move back one row and my wife moved over into mine. Then it was comfortable. Will think abt this the nxt time there is a show there. Seats could be a deal breaker.

If you have a small child (5-9), they will truly be mesmerized. If you have a creative soul on your hands, your best bet is to sign them up to perform. If they are not ready to perform, there are various other options for summer camp. My son has done robotics, theater fighting, game coding, and small productions. Make sure that you checkout their website for details on the camps. If you decide to do the camps make sure that you have some patience during the pick up, it's a little slow. The cost for the larger production tickets is about $10 for adults and $8 for kids. For the shows make sure that you print the receipt because on multiple occasions we bought tickets the day of the performance and the box office did not have our names down. The sound system could use a little updating, but the AC is pumping strong so, make sure that you bring your sweater.

While, it is a big event, it really wasn't the same at all. It used to be at OU Duck Pond and it's now at Reaves Park. I'm pretty sure it had to move away from the duck pond because of parking issues, but parking was not much better at Reaves. Unless you go very early in the morning while everything is being setup, expect to park in a galaxy far far away. At least it's free parking. The entrance is awkward. You will see the jousters on the outskirts (this is not a design flaw imo because you can't forget where they are) then you wind around a million porta potties and it's like your switchbacking until you finally cross into a clearing filled with booths. It's not quite big enough for the amount of pedestrian traffic there is but I was relieved that the fair hadn't been reduced to an extremely long sidewalk sale. My favorite part is watching the blacksmiths and other artisans who make stuff right of you. I love seeing the Medieval characters that people dream up and prance around in. I love the Human Chess Board and the Mermaids are still there, even though there is no water for them to lay around in. Food vendors are pricy, make sure you know exactly what you want or eat before you go. There is no price for parking or entry so any money you spend is going directly to food trucks or the individuals selling their goods.
