Sure, they earn their bread and butter on commercials, but these guys (and girls) are always adding a little extra to the Irish animation scene with great scripts and fantastic work. The team at BBF have taken home bales of more local awards for groundbreaking animation and scriptwriting, it's time they added a certain gold statuette to the shelf.

The classes are affordable and the teachers have experience of working in the industry. The building itself is very impressive, there is a gallery downstairs open to the public and a public cafe upstairs. They also run free lectures, talks and exhibitions from time to time. The staff are helpful and approachable. Also it's central location in Temple Bar makes it accessible by all public transport routes.
