My daughter has had several teachers over the years depending on which classes she took and the staff is amazing! Each take the time to help the children individually and push them at their performance level. Even after a move to Tampa several years ago, I still make the weekly drive to allow my daughter to stay at Victoria's! To respond to the previous person: As with everything, there are reasons behind it. Having been a backstage mom for several years, I can tell you it is impossible to memorize hundreds of students, their parents, and their custody arrangements. They dismiss after the recital by song, with police escort. Only those having a matching wristband to their child is able to pick up the child. The children love being backstage, and it isn't as stressful on the children as it is the parents. The recital process is thoroughly explained when you choose whether or not to participate. It is not mandatory. As far as the fees go: in any extra-curricular activity, there are fees and extras needed aside from program fees. We love it there!

None of the girls in either of her classes I observed know their recital pieces. And April was too busy to attend their last classes. I've never seen her instruct the girls to rehearse without following her lead, but she seems indignant that they are unable to perform independently. And, in case it's not enough that she's unprofessional, she behaves very inappropriately. She has been extremely impatient with my child and has repeatedly insisted that my child needs mental health intervention, though I've obtained a professional opinion to the contrary. So April has resorted to belittling my child when the opportunity presents itself. I didn't waste the time reporting this to the owner, because she's April's aunt and, as such, is undoubtedly aware of April's limitations. This school holds itself out to be top notch, but in our experience, that designation is limited to the cost of attendance.

We are glad we chose Dance Dynamics because they work with the students to teach them not only dance, but help them gain self-confidence and a desire to be kind to others. As a result of this, the studio retains talented dancers and has recently won a number of competitions. Instead of the teacher addressing me appropriately about the issue, she loudly shamed my two year old for not participating in her class in front of the whole waiting room of parents. Instead of a fun and engaging atmosphere, Ms. Sarah's class was dry and created a harsh atmosphere. This instructor should not be teaching toddlers after shaming my daughter and dismissing the students for lack of participation. Dance camp should be fun and engaging and my two year old should want to be there. As a paying customer we were instead instructed to leave in front of a waiting room full of parents and siblings. I will definitely not be returning to this establishment at any point. Two year olds shouldn't be shamed in front of adults and other children. As an educator myself, I'm disgusted at the interaction between the instructor and toddler students. Not all kids deserve a gold medal, but they also don't deserve to be shamed by an adult that doesn't even know their name. This situation could have been handled appropriately in a multitude of different ways. Absolutely ridiculous.

The tennis instructors for the children Saturday morning classes are very good with the children, and turn the instruction into games. There is an over sized Olympic diving pool, workout facilities, and a multitude of other rooms. They offer after school programs and summer camps as well. Swimming lessons by age group are another offering. The parking lot is often too small for the number of cars here, and you will see quite a bit of parking on the street.

It would be great if some of the newer equipment from that gym could be moved here. I'd especially like to see upgrades to the cardio machines. Many of them are extremely rusty, and some of the treadmills don't run very smoothly. The locker room could also use a bit of a refresh. Other than that, I don't have major complaints and I'm happy with the gym overall. I'd just love to see some equipment updates to match the newer location that recently closed.

I like that they have more amenities and I use the pool often. I feel that the pool should have a better cleaning system but it seems alright. I am suspicious that I got ringworm on my elbows while doing crunches but that's not really the gym's fault, it's just that some people are disgusting and don't wipe the machines. Plus it might have been bug bites because I garden a lot. Maybe enforce the machine wiping more somehow. I like that it's not too crowded but I do wish it had like monkey bars and maybe an outdoor fitness area. The new Pilates studio looks very nice and the newer lifting area is awesome. If you go here just wipe the machines down BEFORE AND AFTER you use them... not every member has a sense of personal hygiene or a care for shared property.
