I'm hesitant to leave only one star since the folks here seem so nice, but it's difficult to not feel ripped off. Brought in a 100-120 lbs (dressed) doe and only received 24.7 lbs of meat. I asked and was promptly told "that's all there is," which wasn't assuring. Shot placement didn't destroy the shoulder, hind or back straps, so I'm struggling to understand where the rest of the meat went. Photos attached, and I'm 220lbs for reference. read more

From the rancher's field to our freezer, JMM handled it for us. I really like the way they wrap my meat. No freezer burn with that! They allowed for customization, which was nice. They also allowed us to gather up things most don't like the tongue and liver. They even cut up some bones for the German Shepherds! This was a beef deal. We would use JMM again! read more

I took two deer in for cutting. I received back 39 pounds. I got 6 packages of chops, 9 packages assor. steaks, 2 roasts and rest in burger. In 2020 they did a perfect job not in 2021. I would take my deer elsewhere. I will never use them again. I would like to know what changed. read more

Took 250lbs bone in quarters, both loin and backstraps that were in perfect condition and only got back 145lbs. Two whole backstraps from a bull elk yielded eight packages of chops...what? Two full loins yielded two less than white tail size packages of loin. Either they stole some of my elk or they are the most wasteful meat processors I know. They claimed it may have dried or been dirty, but it was not when we took it there. Cut up the meat yourself or take it someplace else is my advice. Certainly don't take your loin or backstraps to this place. read more

I had an elk butchered here last year and they lost 20 pounds of sausage I had them make, they were nice and said they would ship it to me due to me being an out of state hunter but every time I have called I am put on the back burner and told a round about story. After almost a year I still have not received my meat and I will be going out of my way from now on to use a different butcher shop. read more
