It's on the bright red shopping center on WLY at the end, well lit and has signs outside. Plenty of parking. I definitely didn't expect the inside to look so basic or be so dark however there was a DJ in the corner, a stage and lots of hookahs on the shelf. Maybe Sunday night isn't busy for them. There was literally only one other customer at the bar. Not an employee in sight. I sat down, chatted and waited then another pickup customer came inside. About 5 minutes later a friendly guy came out. He confirmed my order and went to the back. Shortly after a pretty young lady came out to bring my order and I left. Once I got home and looked at my oxtails I was annoyed. Literally no gravy on my oxtails and rice when I specifically asked for extra in my order. None the less the oxtails tasted good. They were tender and seasoned well but a little dry because of the missing gravy. The mac 'n cheese taste straight out the box which I'm use to because I have a toddler but for goodness sake they could have put some butter or onion /garlic powder in it. Something! That cabbage was so peppery and borderline offensive. Why anyone would put that much fresh cracked black pepper in cabbage is a mystery to me. Fix that right neooow. I tasted my husband meatloaf and I personally liked it a lot. Had instant regret for ordering oxtails. It was seasoned well and the portion was huge. I asked my husband how he felt about his food and he said the meatloaf was bomb but everything else was over seasoned. He said there was too much vinegar or pepper sauce in the greens and the black pepper in the cabbage was outrageous. Mind you I season well in my home and he's NEVER said that. I was shocked. With that said, I would consider visiting this business again for a local chill spot. Maybe just drinks and hookah or if they had a band performing on the stage. I would not go back here to dine in, unless they addressed all of the issues mentioned above. 3 Stars... for now..

There's so much cinnamon in the yams I can barely taste the yams. The oxtails are salty. I'm just Upset I'm stuck with this for dinner.

Oh boy... I have to say it. This restaurant has not only some of the worst Mexican food I have ever…read morehad in or around the Houston area... the portions they provided were shocking. More specifically for my dish. When you sit down at a mexican restaurant and noticed that the salsa is awful, you know the food following will not be much better. The red salsa was almost sweet (not spicy at all) and the green salsa was more edible but no heat and cold. My dad asked for a spicier salsa and it was soooo salty. It also quite literally did not have any spice. I ordered the chicken breast alcapulco. When I say that I had a 4 pieces of rubbery small cubes of chicken breast on my plate, I quite literally mean that I had 4 pieces of rubbery cubed chicken breasts altogether on my plate. They styled it in a shishkabob fashion on my plate. (Cube chicken, slice of raw tomatoes, cold slice of avocado, zucchini and then repeat small chicken cube in that format). The sauce it was smothered in tasted like a canned enchilada sauce that was made by someone of European descen.. it was definitely not mexican. Chunks of zucchini threw me off so much and it was pretty hard. Didn't taste fully cooked. I just dont know how this place is still running. I also did have to remember that we were in the middle of cypress, tx and they may be accommodating to the usual crowd that comes in. My plate was also over $20 which was also hard to swallow. Both metaphorically and literally. The only reason why I gave this place a 2 stars is because of their tortillas and the cool vibe the restaurant does have. Our waitress was awesome too.

Ordered with the app on yelp which was super easy and gave me status on when order was received and when it was on its way to be delivered. Food was carefully contained and was still hot upon arrival. The chicken was very tender and has the right amount of spice on a layer of tasty rice. The hummus as a side was super tasty ( probably some of the best Ive had. The bread was large and I ordered 2 as I thought hey would be smaller however it was coated in sesame seeds and had a strange flavor. Not bad but certainly could not compare to some other Lebanese bread I've had from another Mediterranean restaurants. The baklava I ordered was flaky and soft not too crunchy and had a very good flavor. Overall very pleased with his find - if your in the mood for Mediterranean then this will not disappoint.
