What I experienced in response was honestly shocking and incredibly disappointing. The screenshots below show my correspondence with their office this morning, and the tone was dismissive, cold, and unnecessarily rude. As a long-time patient, I expected at least a basic level of professionalism and courtesy. Instead, I was made to feel like simply asking for clarification of out of pocket cost for replacement retainers was somehow an inconvenience to them. If this is how they treat families who have been with them for years, I would strongly caution anyone considering becoming a new patient. Customer service and communication matter just as much as the dental care itself, and unfortunately this interaction led to them never getting another penny out of me. I trusted their recommendation, but I regret moving forward. The first replacement crown was unsatisfactory, so they remade it. Unfortunately, the second one looked even worse to me. The color did not match my other teeth, and the crown was much too large. After two attempts, I lost confidence in their ability to get it right. I was also concerned that continuing to redo the work would mean removing more of my natural tooth. I traveled from Los Angeles to Tustin expecting quality work, especially given how nice the dental office looked. However, the crown laboratory appeared old and outdated to me, and the final results did not meet my expectations. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Tustin Dental Center, especially for crown work.

I called the office asking if I could make an appointment with them and the receptionist, Crystal, checked some list she had and my name wasn't on it. Of course it wasn't because I'm not assigned to it but I have insurance that they accept and I had asked her how I could go and be a patient there. Well after she concluded that her job only consisted of reading off names that are on a list instead of actually trying to contact the insurance provider and be useful in any sort of way, I decided to give my provider a call (yet again) to see how to assign myself to this office. She kept telling me I could get to a live person in the automated phone system, but I had tried 3 times and had been unsuccessful because the options were very limited. I called her back and after giving me some incredible attitude like I was incompetent or something, asked for my information and said she would call me back to check. Finally, I thought, she can actually do her job for once. Well, if you think you'll get great customer service here then you certainly won't find it. When I finally got a call back from Crystal she told me that I was wrong and that there was an option for me to assign myself to their office and that I "simply had to listen to the menu" as if to say I didn't just spend the last half hour trying to do that on my own. All she said before the end of the voicemail was that, again, she wasn't able to do anything for me. Well she was right. She certainly cannot do anything for me nor can she really do anything at all except answer phone calls with the worst attitude. It surprises me how people can be employed as the face of an office and still have terrible customer service, but I guess this is just a forewarning for the kind of service you can expect to receive in this office. Thank goodness I was assigned to someplace better, with far more credibility, and friendlier office staff. I'll be sure to steer clear from this establishment when there are better options out there.

I personally have lots of dental anxiety and just being in a dental office makes me nervous, but Dr. Martha and her team have made me feel so much more at ease with each appointment. I had crowns replaced, a root canal and some of my wisdom teeth removed, which I have healed perfectly fine from! Their dental hygienists are also great and super friendly. I asked them to refund me due to failed services. Since what they did sign work. I asked for my dental records and X-ray. I wanted to speak with manager. But she's either "gone" or " busy". They sent me edited and cropped images of my X-rays that didn't show the infection or what they did wrong. Big red flag off the bat. When I emailed back letting them know I want my X-rays not doctored they ignored me. Extremely fake place. They will ignore you and not reply when you try to talk to them about what they did wrong. Letting them know I received "failed services" for my root canal apparently made them upset. Root canal is infected now again. Crown never sat properly and even came off once. When I went back due to the crown falling off, they told me it was just "fixed" but if antibiotics and the crown didn't work I would get a $500 credit to remove the molar. Really? you messed up and you'll pull out my tooth for $500 oh but the credit will make it free? Gee thanks. Now it's infected again After spending thousands. They failed. And now they are ignoring me. Will not return calls or emails. I had to walk in to talk about it and was told by the office manager they were busy and I would have to wait awhile. I had other obligations and don't have time to sit there and be ignored. I just asked them to respond to my emails. She said she would call me. They did not. They were so busy that when I arrived the two dentists and the office manager were just sitting up front with NO patients and sitting on their computers chatting. Another thing my wife never pays for cleaning at her dentist but here for some reason I have a copay even though I'm in network and they told me as such. I've since switched dentists. So now I'll have to let the system work and hope justice prevails. Don't go through the same headache I did. They had their chance to make things right. This is my experience and opinion about this place. Good luck if you decide to go.
