They were reasonably priced and responsive to our requests. The polite crew showed up on time, answered questions, and cleaned up our lot so tenants could return very quickly. At the end of the job I came out and noticed a limb from a tree on the other side of the lot intersected with the oak. This tree was not part of the job but they cleared that limb out quickly with no additional costs. They will be our "Go To" tree company for future work in Saint Augustine.

Very professional work with a tree between four properties in the city. Respectful of my property, as well those around me. They cleaned up and with the exception of small amount of sawdust, you would have never known they had been there. Highly recommended for any tree work in the St Augustine area! Paver job was excellent, work was quality when it comes to laying pavers but the problem is they…read moreleft my yard trashed after laying the pavers. I give them credit they came back and cleaned up but I shouldn't have to tell them to do that . Next problem is they destroyed multiple sections of my lawn when they did the paver installation and they did not intend to re-sod the damage areas. I didn't understand why they didn't have a plan to repair the damaged sections of my lawn and why they expected me to foot the bill for the repairs. I had to pay for the sod and the labor for them to repair the grass they destroyed. So I was very unhappy with this part of the job. I think it's fair for the customer to expect the company to fix the grass if they destroy it. They did a good job laying the sod I had to pay for.

I called them and within a couple of days they came out on Thurs, gave me a quote (and a VERY fair quote), and were here Saturday to cut the tree down. They started at 7:30 and were done w/ the tree by 11 and done grinding the stump by around 11:15-11:30. Everyone was incredibly nice and professional. I have 2 more trees that I need cut down and I'm 100% using Arbor for them. They were very fair and very trustworthy. There was a board that broke on my privacy fence...not their fault. The fence is beyond needing repair, but they replaced the board as well. They hauled everything away and even picked up the smaller limbs and twigs. I know there are only 8 reviews, but there's a reason they have a 5.0 rating.

We had a HUGE…read moreshrub job consisting of approximately 25 yards of hedges which required cutting sides and tops cut about 2 feet down. Very tight area next to pool enclosure. In addition, we had an extremely tall overgrown tree where limbs were extending too close over our roof and electrical service lines. Rob was our point person. Came out and gave us a quote promptly. Workers arrived straightaway and dutifully cut down the shrubs and tree limbs in record time. They had to work on our neighbor's side, and conversed with him accordingly. Even the owner of American Tree came out to ensure proper handling of our job. We were so IMPRESSED! At completion, all debris was cleaned up and cleared. The property was so clean, It looked as though they were never here! EXCEPTIONAL job! EXTRAORDINARY service! We will definitely use this company again! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

None of the SOD has laid down flat (I have rolled my ankle when cutting the grass). Half of it is dead. The remaining is half and half, you can still see dead grass/roots under it. I did find out that one pallet was bought at a reduced price as it was old, so am assuming the rest was also bought at a reduced price. I sent pictures to them after a month, made an appointment for them to come and look at it = no show. Was told I would receive a call from the "owner" to resolve the issue, he never called. We are now having to seek legal assistance, it has been five weeks since I sent the pictures. I can't explain how disappointed we are to be getting treated like this. We have been loyal customers, paid on the day that the job was completed.

I needed a huge maple tree limbed up , a medium sized tree removed, and two stumps ground down. When they got done with the stumps, you could walk right over the spot and not detect that a tree had ever lived there before. The tree limbs (other than the ones we requested to remain) were whisked away. I also found the price extremely reasonable for all the work accomplished. I was not surprised though. It was about 7 years ago when I needed my older maple tree removed. Co-workers recommended Emerts and after seeing the conscientious job they did back then, put their contact in my address book. They again made me extremely pleased with their work.
