I was searching Nextdoor and saw JT Tree Service mentioned so I thought I'd give them a try. Their quote to remove a large Fir tree was less than half what I was quoted from some of the larger local companies. They let me know they'ed be out within a few weeks (looks like they are able to give lower prices by grouping their work together in areas, as they did some of my neighbors' yards the same day). To me the savings were definitely worth the wait. The owner and his crew showed up and had the tree removed / ground and cleaned up in about 40 minutes and they ground another stump for me since it was close by. I was happy with the work and asked them to trim a large tree and remove another in the front yard which they added in for a very reasonable price. They thinned the trees out properly, rather than hacking off large chunks which make them grow back in a nasty way (like some walk through tree people have done in the past and ruined some smaller trees). I been around a long time and have worked with the best. Joel and his crew are the best I have ever used. I have always set very high standards for anyone that does work for me at work and at home. JT Tree Service exceeded my expectations. Their equipment is top of the line to fit any size job and Joel and crew were amazing in the talent they have when trimming my large tree that had very large limbs 8 plus inches in Diameter that needed removed. I will be using them more in the future. Had lots of Bids Joel was within them all on pricing but he has the Company insurance and equipment to make sure i didnt have any concerns that could happen in such a removal procedure. Wow did this company impress me! I am a new homeowner in Carmel. I tried to find a stump grinding company to no avail. On the same day that I contacted JT, he called me to discuss an estimate. I sent a few photos in and he gave me a very reasonable estimate. To my shock, his team was available the very next day. They came out and ground all 9 stumps in a little over an hour. JT and his crew were efficient, affordable, professional and very respectful of our and our neighbors' yards. Not only was the job done correctly and quickly, but JT did not even have to take part of our fence down to get into the backyard. I was told by a number of other grinding companies that the fence would have to come down, which would have added cost to take down/put back up. My scheduled tree removal work was pushed back 3 times because I was told by the owner that storm-damage related jobs come before my scheduled tree work. I was not told this before I got the nearly 4k priced and the job approved that was time sensitive. I didn't feel that my service was considered to be a priority. He accused me of lying and said he didn't want to work with me (almost 3 weeks after the original date for tree removals) to him because I told him I was concerned about an elm tree that is dead, and located close to several vehicles. Joel and his team did a fantastic job! I had a tree along my home that was a concern for causing foundation issues. I also had 2 stumps to remove. JT's Tree Service is most definitely We had a walnut tree in our backyard that had a large limb that split during a storm. We were able to contact Joel and arrange for him to come and trim the limb which was hanging precariously still in the tree. JT Tree Service removed a very large dead ash tree from my yard. They had the work done before some services even managed to get out to give a quote. Their pricing was affordable with a bid significantly lower than others we received. But more importantly, they were able to safely remove this 100 year old tree with no equipment larger than a forklift brought into the yard - minimal disruption to the property and cleaned up thoroughly after.
