When we arrived at our new site we just wiped off the right side ( more dirt and mud from the rain because in an RV focus on staying in the slow lane) Anyways like I was saying, we just wiped it off with paper towels and a little bit of water and the rig is very clean! So I really recommend getting a wash with the spray that was a little bit extra and worth it. I think they called it a ceramic sealant. It's not a true ceramic wash, but it was really good. - Everything from making the appointment to the end was so easy. My class C looks great! Price was fair . I'm moving to camp at a different location, so I'll see how long it last . Thanks for cleaning her up!!

April 16 & 18 2025…read more I asked for a wash and hand wax. I was quoted $235 for a 19 foot Mercedes sprinter high top. Because it's a class RV the was no waxing to be done on the roof. (Solar panels, Starlink, A/C and full Roof Rack) the roof area is close to 25% of the total vehicle area. So he sends Francis to do the job and it was not a good job by any stretch I had to show him over and over missed areas. Almost the entire driver's door and front fender were rough to the touch, Francis felt it was water spots, And I guess now when they say water spots, they mean For a long time and it really is hard on the paint finish. That was not the case of my Van o2024. It had less then 2500 miles on it. Anyway, I had lengthy discussion with Francis, later Norm. All I wanted was the van washed and hand waxed. And then, in the future I could use Ceramic. Well, I spent $325 for the hand wash and hand wax. $75 For the trim to be coated three times with their Chemical guys brand stuff. And then on the second visit to correct all of the problems with the first visit I was offered by the $600 Polished job for $200. So a total of $600 I paid and the van still had missed spot that you could take a cloth and wipe off so it's just not paying attention to detail while detailing. There were still areas that looks like they were just missed. The driver side door did come out much better when they used a little buffing machine that you would have thought they would use in the first place if they saw that they were wiping over an area And it wasn't just coming off with minimal pressure because they don't believe in elbow grease at Nomad. I'll tell you that. They washed my tires and wheels and put tire shine on them and missed many areas even after going over them twice. And the tires were not shiny certainly not the shine they were in October when I pick the unit up. About every product and process Nomad Wash And Detail uses is substandard and flawed. 3 coats of the chemical guys trim stuff is terrible, And of course, there are missed areas and of course it doesn't last. When I had the discussion with Norm and was explaining that all I wanted was a hand wash and wax like wax on wax off the way I used to do it using the can of Canuba like California Gold or one of those. Norm stated "can wax is a 75 year old technology" The thing, you can't argue with results, or lack of in this instance. Anybody who cares about the work they do could wax my van with turtle wax paste and it would've been far superior to what I got from you guys for $600. Nomad Just seem to be full of themselves like they are and all experts to detailing when in fact, they are terrible at detailing and certainly black professional communication skills with customers. Nomad Wash And Detail is a substandard detailing company grossly overpriced considering the end results. Norm was quick to say he didn't charge you for something, in this case water spot remover. Well, you shouldn't because they didn't need water spot remover. I just needed a little bit of proper waxing or polishing. And since I paid for a waxing and days later a polishing. What next you gonna tell me I need a paint correction? Mercedes paint is inferior? Blame and excuses rather than take responsibility for Nomad Wash and Detailing SHORTCOMINGS. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AND TOLD THEM IN THE LAST TEXT ADVERTISING TO LOOSE MY NUMBER. This review may be updated from time to time If necessary.

I explained I had time for a fast one, not interested in "the deal", please "just get me to the wash". She took her sweet time explaining everything anyway, trying to hand me a card, I repeated. She gave my card back and I started to pull forward. I heard "here's your receipt" but felt it unsafe to back up AND was in a hurry she intentionally repeatedly stalled for. Guy spritzes me with water, track pulls me in. No rollers touch the car and the track stops at half way. Guy comes up and says there was "an incident" at the kiosk and I need to go back through. I go back in line, wait for 3 cars & the witch gives me my now wadded up and wet receipt "here's your receipt". I asked what's the issue? She says "no idea" (smiling). What say you all? I feel like I was just assaulted! This lady is a liability to the company, ethically, criminally and safety-wise! Besides costing the company my future business. I'm surprised I lasted this long being held hostage for a disrespectful spiel I never intend to use, in exchange for a wash. Some of us prefer to pay premium prices rather than get stuck in a subscription we won't use. Buyer beware of the BS at this car wash. It seems they just took it up a notch. Prices went sky high and service became questionable, but it's about the only full service game left in town so she continued to go. And every time they asked her to sign up for the monthly plan and, every time, she said no. Then a couple months ago, right after getting home from a wash, she noticed a sticker dangling off the bottom of the windshield. Initially, I thought maybe it was a good customer sticker but it turned out to be a monthly plan she didn't ask for. She tried to call but nobody ever answers the phone. We live in north Lakeland and it's quite a drive all the way south, so she called her credit card company and they did a charge-back. Guess what? They charged her again this month. Now it's been sent to credit card investigations and they'll have to block that business from using her card. I guess my next stop will be the BBB if they continue.

It's kinda strange the way it's laid out: two self service bays in the front plus the automated bay; then two other self serve bays in the back. I'd imagine there's a lot of collisions from the way the place is laid out. There's only a couple vacuums too. Two in the back and one up front. The problem is they only accept coins. No cash or cards. If you need coins you have to walk to the front building to reach the change machine. Lame. Lamer when you consider the north side TNT has free vacuums! As for he actual services well I have to say they do a pretty good job. I went through the automated port and it did a good job of cleaning the car but it didn't get all the bugs off. Plus some other stains and blemishes remained. Thankfully I keep a drying towel in the trunk and I was able to wipe off the spots it missed. I've used the self serve bays a few times. First time I swiped my card and went about 10 minutes but it only charged my card the minimum fee! I used the same bay a few weeks later and it charged me the full price. So if you need to get your car cleaned this place definitely will do the job. If you want or need a professional cleaning you may want to opt for something else.

However, when I made the phone call I accidentally made the mistake of calling and asking for the manager so I could get direct information. I have more confidence speaking with a manager regarding brand new memberships over other employees, just my preference. I ended up being denied to speak to a manager since they stated that they had no clue what the manager's schedule was and that the manager didn't want to speak to anybody unless they were important or expected. As a prospective customer I have every right to speak to a manager if I request to speak with one. This is default by any current or not current customer to be able to rightfully speak with a manager on duty. To be told that I wasn't able to, was denying my right. I used to think highly of this company since I had heard good things about them, but have definitely changed my mind, no questions asked, about how I feel about this company. If I could give -0- or negative stars I would do that in a heart beat. Thankfully there are many many many other options plus more being built in the vicinity to choose from cause me and people I know will be straying away from this low end company along with any family/friends/co-workers/neighbors, you name it, to avoid this place.
