Their workers showed up every day and were very respectful to me and each other. When they arrived they told me what they would be doing each day. The work was done to my satisfaction and I love my new bathroom. The shower and new free standing tub are beautiful. read more

My "custom" project didn't end up as promised. I have a small shower space and had the sales person out to discuss making optimal use of the space. Assured that it would be made as large as possible. They sent out their project manager to measure and I left him to do the measuring. I was shown a drawing that said the corner to my door frame was 28 inches and that the pan they were going to order was 28 inches. After waiting over 2 months for the Onyx supplies to come in, the installers arrived. Nice young gentlemen. At the end of the first day the pan was installed was about 1.5 inches from the door frame. Not sure how this could be since it was measured by their project manager. I was furious. I called the project manager. They took no responsibility for the bad measuring. Said I could pay to have the pan redone and could wait another 6 -8 week for it to come in. Very unprofessional when speaking with me. What we basically paid for were Onyx pan and walls and install with no customization to the actual space. Even though the sales person and the individual who came out to measure knew I wanted the space to be made as large as possible - which was only about 1.5 inches larger than my existing shower, but that is what I was expecting. I didn't know that I had to confirm the measurements myself. I thought I was paying for their expertise. In a nutshell, the Onyx product is very nice and I know many other "home remodeling " companies sell Onyx. You may want to reach out to them instead. And when you do, get out your tape measure and have them draw exactly what they are installing. JSB did nothing to "customize" the shower space. No one has followed up with me since the installers left. Custom glass door was on me to order and get installed. Got their money and they were done. read more

I should have known in the beginning that this wasn't a company that pays attention to detail. In the beginning they send you videos and texts all the time keeping you updated on your pre build meeting. At the meeting if you choose to go with JSB they give you a certificate, when I received the certificate I pointed out a typo and kindly tried to return it. The representative said they've given out thousands of these and no one's ever noticed that before. I thought he would fix it and give me a new one later but he just slid it back across the table. That was also when the communication died. We had a 16 week lead time which we understood and didn't have a problem with. However, after about 12 weeks I decided to give them a call and see where we were at they replied that they already had me scheduled but no text or phone call to confirm just an email. I don't know about you but most blue collar workers don't check their email every day. Plus with the precedence of having such good communication you would assume they are like that at every step. Nope they just love bomb you in the beginning then you never hear from them again. So we get the date to install settled they show up on time and prep the house for demo and after two days we have our shower walls up. Aside from some caulking issues everything looks good at first, but because they sent an inexperienced person out to put in our shower walls he failed to make sure that he trimmed the panels, so two of the panels started bowing out away from the walls near the bottom and this is where the nightmare began. We tried to get in contact with someone so they could come repair it. However, since the person who was lead on our project "mysteriously" quit the company it felt as no one was assigned to our project anymore since it was technically done. I had to reach out to the person who did the pre-install meeting to get someone to help me fix the issue. So Justin was assigned to my project and said that the installer was new and he informed him of the mistake and that they would order new walls and as soon as they arrived he would call me to set up an install date. After a few weeks had gone by. I called Justin to see where we were and he called me back several days later and said that the panels had arrived last Friday (it was now Wednesday) and we set up the time to do the install. They sent the same installer out to re do the panels that were bowing and when I got home to see how he had done there was thick white caulk all up and down the shower walls in the corner. Now when you spend $10k for a shower remodel you want it to look better than the original shower. The caulking looked like it was done by an absolute amateur. It doesn't look like he had the necessary tools to make it look professional. Not to mention he overdid the trimming of the shower walls to account for the change when it gets hot and made one part of the caulking over 3/4 of an inch thick. It looked like he was just back filling a gap so that we couldn't see it. Again I gave Justin a call and asked that he come out personally to see what was done because pictures don't show how bad it is. He did come out and said he would have his more experienced installer come out and put a more neutral caulk on the walls after removing the old caulk. I mentioned that I was nervous that the gap that was created would still look bad because of how wide it is. He said that I wouldn't notice it with the new caulk. Well it is still very noticeable, even the experienced installer couldn't fix that gap issue and the caulk is still 3/4 inch thick. So it's been two weeks and Justin hasn't checked to see if everything has turned out good or to our liking. Judging by how dismissive he was of my worries I don't think we spent enough money for him to care. So every time I take a shower I am reminded of how bad of a choice it was to pick JSB Home solutions. If it was possible I'd give them back everything so I could get my money back and find a company who cares for their costumers. Or at least get enough back to pay someone else to fix their mistakes. read more

I signed me contract with JSB on 03/30/22 and my kitchen was completed on 04/10/23. After the completion of 1 year my feed back is as follows: 1. They will tell you that any granite company is OK, but beware. If you do not use their preferred vendor they will not work with them. 2. There are hidden costs (electric). I expressed my displeasure with this but they said it was not in the contract. 3. Mismeasurements resulted in a major delay to the project. I would not use again. Kitchen is great and I'm happy with the end product. The time sink and cost was not worth it. Wish I had gone elsewhere. read more

Hired JSB to remodel our master bathroom and basement bathroom. The contractors they hired (after the salesman told us they do not use contractors) were not qualified to do the job. The result was subpar work that had to be redone a year later by JSB. Two leaks occurred at the time of install which flooded my daughter's bedroom in the basement. Six months later, two additional leaks surfaced, again flooding my daughter's bedroom. Getting JSB to come back out to repair the damages to my daughter's bedroom was difficult. Communication from JSB management leaves a lot to be desired. Folks showed up unannounced, folks did not show up when they were supposed to without notification. Multiple days go by before anyone from JSB would return an email. I called the office requesting a return call and nobody returned my call. Save yourself a lot of headaches and stay far away from this company. We hired another company to remodel our third bathroom and kitchen and could not be happier!! read more

We knew we had to do something when the tiles in the shower stall of our master bathroom started to "peel" from the shower wall. I went online and found JSB Home Solutions to be the highest rated local contractor. We are in our upper 70s and wanted the renovation to be a "one and done" so we would not have to have a redo when we were even older. Paul, the design consultant, came out, we discussed the problems and need for a new floor and the replacement of the original "swimming pool" size jacuzzi tub. He understood our needs exactly. We met with him in the showroom and chose the fixtures that met our needs. Far more options than we had anticipated! Rob, the supervisor, Todd the demolition specialist (yes, this can be a specialty), Clint, Tom and RJ the installers, Joe the mud man and his helper, were all FANTASTIC. Careful, neat, anxious to meet our every need without question. They all were friendly and respectful of our home. Honestly, I can't think of a better home renovation experience than what we just went through with the fine folks at JSB Home Solutions. I give them the highest rating and recommendation possible. And our new bathroom is fantastic! Love it. read more

we had a TERRIBLE experience. felt pressured to make a commitment the day the salesperson came out. our start date was moved 3 times. once we didn't even know it had been moved until we neared the start date and I reached out (they didn't even bother to contact me, I had to contact them). they preached customer service but once they got our down payment, we didn't hear from them for months, not even to tell us the start date of our project moved. the original contractor measured the wall wrong (so it would look bad) so it was reordered not once but 2 times (because the contractor was not told why it was reordered in the first place so he cut it AGAIN) causing our PROMISED 1 week project time to be TWO months. the workers would come out and only stay 3-4 hours a day and would start their day anywhere from 8-12 so you never knew when they would be there. once the bathroom was completed, there were problems and when we brought them up. they were rude and condescending in their interactions with us. we spent almost $16,000 on a PARTIAL remodel (new shower, new floor, and tiling around the bath tub we already had), which was MUCH higher then everyone else and didnt even include the shower door!!!! we were told the shower door would only be $800-1000 which we factored into out budget and then find out its almost $2000!!!! we NEVER would have signed a contact with them had we known the shower door would be so much so we feel purposely deceived. with this kind of cost and such minimal work, you would think the work would be amazing, but you would be wrong! there is caulk up the wall, the seams don't match where they put the pieces together and it's just all around sloppy. also, we were told that they do not paint so WE had to buy the paint and paint baseboards and were told that even though they caused the caulk to be up the wall, they don't paint so we would have to do it!!!! this was the worst experience and I will tell anyone who asks to avoid JSB at all COSTS. save yourself time and headaches!!!! read more

We contacted Home Solutions after seeing their booth at the Home Remodeling Show 1/2020. We were mainly interested in having our kitchen cabinets refaced. The sales person came to our home. After 3 hours we still did not have a price for the cabinet refacing. He started adding on flooring, countertops, etc. After pressuring him for just the cabinet reface he came up with a figure that was only $3800 less than his new cabinet pricing. When asked why would we want the refacing when we could purchase new ones for only $3800 more. The sales person said "exactly". He then left abruptly without providing a quote. He kindly let us take a photo of his work sheet-really weird. We then saw their booth at the Home and Garden Show 2/2020. We went up to the booth workers and in detail explained our dissatisfactory experience with one of their sales people. They were speechless. They assured us that Home Solutions Management would be contacting us immediately. It's been 2 months and no one has reached out. There is some kind of scam going on. I would stay away from this company. read more
