Very beautiful walk and live the shade provided by all the pecan trees. They call it Pecan Bayou in the park and have done very grand changes coming g up! Will be awesome when they are done but will also bring s lot more people to the area. Pros and cons of development. Would definitely stay again. Even saw a little armadillo on our walk in the park and heard the cicadas!

Many sites have partial shade. I camped in #30 and it was shaded all morning. In addition to the half court basketball ball court, there is a portable tennis net and two sets of corn hole games. There are no grills so bring your own. There are plenty of restaurants, gas stations and a Walmart within a 10 minute drive.

We brought dinner with us (micro wave in room) and enjoyed dinner with a view after a nice swim in the pool.
