He used to cry every morning going to daycare, begged not to go, and would try to barter for early pick up. Now, he is excited to go and gets upset if I pick him up early. They do a great job keeping him stimulated, moving, structure, being positive and keeping to a schedule so transition back to school will be smoother. I can't say enough positive things I definitely recommend Kicks for any child. But if your child is ADHD like my guy, I strongly recommend you check them out.

From the moment we walked through the door, we felt genuinely welcomed. The staff and students went out of their way to introduce themselves, offer assistance, and make sure Christian felt comfortable and included. Because we were snowed in and unable to fly out for several days, we were fortunate to visit the academy twice. Each visit reinforced our positive impression. Our son shared that he felt very good training there and appreciated the depth of knowledge and expertise among the instructors and students. We are truly looking forward to returning in the future. If anyone is searching for a Jiu-Jitsu academy where they or their child can grow, develop, and feel supported, we would absolutely recommend Open Guard BJJ. It has all the qualities of a great training home.

I was blown away by this location and the experience my mom and I had! The facilities/waiting area outside the studio are incredible. The shower/locker/lounge area is MASSIVE. I know I'm used to the city locations that are pretty small, but the owner's of this one did a great job with decorating and making the space feel like and open. The showers and sinks and bathrooms are also extremely clean and well stocked with hair tools and other things that you would need to freshen up after a workout. We did a ritual yin class on Sunday morning and we had a great experience. The hands on assists weren't rushed and helped to loosen my muscles before and after the yoga (sometimes the ones I've gotten in Chicago are quick since the classes are usually packed). The yin class itself was fine - I wish there had been more challenging poses like pigeon to help open up our hips, but overall it was a relaxing class I'd definitely recommend it after a harder work out or a long week.

He's never done this before so it was a little fast paced for him. The amazing thing is that there's now a class that's not too fast and not too slow!! I think the yin class is too slow so think the align class would be a perfect in between. I imagine bf can learn the poses and gain confidence in the align classes so that we can eventually do the hot yoga class regularly!! The instructor was great! She's very motivational and. she told us we did good at the end of class. She also said she loved hearing our giggles which made me feel better since I thought I was disturbing the practice of others by laughing.

Miss Michelle has been known to be rude to the kids on numerous occasions throughout the year. Recently she commented on my daughters pink hair in front of the whole class telling her she had to change it for the recital (Just some ordinary recital). Mind you my daughter got her hair colored pink professionally, to support me, who was diagnosed with breast cancer and am currently going through chemo. First, this class isn't some "elite" class or dance team so why should my daughter have to change her hair regardless, second if she had a problem with her hair she could have acted like an adult and came to me with the issue or talked to my daughter outside of class. Honestly for the money, this place isn't worth going to. The classes aren't necessarily inexpensive, costumes for the recitals are ugly and expensive and Miss Michelle doesn't appear to know how to be professional.

Our first time visiting, my son was greeted by the fierce, skilled, Abigail . Abigail is young and cute and got my son suited up in no time. She answered all of our questions and welcomed him to open fencing. The people there are all ages, ranging from 10yrs to 70's, maybe even older. Everyone was just as kind as the owner and eager to help. My son made fast friends with some of the other 20yr olds and some of the older gentlemen. This place has such a good friendly vibe and I'll say it all starts with the owner. By the time we left, my son bought the entire Fencing suit; yes, they sell top-notch fencing gear here... it's a one-stop shop for all your Fencing needs, and reasonably priced. Thank you Holly for taking care of us. We can't wait to return!

He was leaving the men's locker room, saw me, stopped and stared, and then walked away. I thought it was strange but didn't want to overthink it so I just went into the locker room. Then when I was walking out of the locker room about a minute later he was trying to push the door open as I was pushing it to leave. I asked him what he was doing and he just stared at me and wouldn't move. I reported this to the staff on shift, I identified him on the camera and told her what happened, she was helpful and understanding. She asked me to talk to the owner on the phone to tell her what happened. The owner, Chris, stated "well maybe he was just admiring you" and "I wouldn't get too upset, we can give him a verbal warning", she obviously did not take me seriously and was insinuating that I was a dumb little girl. I am 25 years old. I no longer felt safe going to the gym so I went back today to see if they had fired him as a member, and they hadn't so I decided to cancel my membership, I had to call her to get approval to cancel. She stated "He has been a member for 15 years" and, "I think you are just looking for a reason to cancel your membership". I told her this was not at all the case, I loved going to the gym there until this situation and she continued to say "You are just looking for a reason to cancel". As if someone would make this situation up to cancel their membership. The owner is extremely unprofessional, doesn't listen to or respect other women, and is not someone you should do business with. I hope this situation doesn't happen to anyone else, or worse because she will not believe a word you say. Who knows how many other people have experienced this situation and she just blew them off. This man is still a member of the gym, and Chris is not doing anything about it. Be careful.
