Customer service is horrible came in today at 5pm, they had absolutely nobody waiting for a cut yet they denied me service saying they were booked out. I don't have much hair left so it would have been an easy cut. So now I'm forced to drive to Lancaster tomorrow to see my personal barber. They weren't booked they just used that as an excuse not to service me. Probably because I'm caucasian or just too lazy to work. When the barbers there get there fades done there you know it's a good place to go. Really laid back place. I went early probably one of the first couple of customers for the day and there was a friendly vibe when I walked in the door. Clean shop. Young but very talented. Looking for an honest opinion? Well here it is. After 12 years of begging my husband to change his so called Barber who was located in a salon and usually messed up his hair. I came across this place. My husband and I decided to check it out. Thankfully we got an amazing barber with great customer service! (That's hard to find now in day's) His name is Fred! He was so nice and took his time to hear exactly what my husband wanted. (Most people pretend to hear). He truly cares about what people want. After I saw how fresh and clean he left my husband I let him cut my 4yr old son. Man! He did such an amazing job on both of them. He was gentle and concern that my son was comfortable. My son was looking so handsome. A Barber who can leave a 4yr old looking as good as my son looked is worth every penny. Fred is truly talented!!!! Go check him out. You won't be disappointed. Guys! I hear wknds are notoriously bad. So I came in on a Monday to get my little one taken care of. He is letting his hair grow, but I wanted it to look tamed while it grows out. He sat in Fred's chair, and I was thoroughly impressed by him. Fred was friendly to everyone that came in (I hate when u walk in a place and no one greets you, pet peeve). He asked me what I wanted for my son, and I showed him a picture. I explained to him we were letting it grow out, but I wanted it to look decent while it grew and not "urban" (No offense, but ur little boys need not to be lined up - parents avoid the urban indoctrination. He went right to work. The sides weren't too short and he trimmed the top. Then he styled and my son looked handsome as ever. I called around 9 something today a Saturday. I asked if I could take my almost 2 year old son. They said yes and that they would take him in right away. I got there and surely they did and luckily the barber who cut my son's hair did a great job with being a toddler it isn't easy. My husband is going to start going there as well. Fast and good customer service. Compare to the place my husband usually goes to they always avoid cutting my son's hair. So first off let me say this is the best barber shop I've been to in sylmar without a doubt I've been coming here for 2 years already all the barbers are great and very experienced my personal barber is Miranda she's undoubtedly the best female barber out here she never disappoints! Second barber I highly recommend is Junior he's really good and on point with his cuts if you come here you won't leave with a bad hair cut! And also a heads up call and make an appointment before you show up usually all the barbers here go by appointments so if your thinking of doing a walk in you might be in for a wait so to avoid time waisted sitting in the waiting room call and make your appointment. Miranda and junior are my personal 2 favorite barbers here highly recommend making an appointment with one of them! read more

Great experience here. All barbers are friendly and professional. They also have a special for veterans which I don't think I've seen other barber shops have. It's always uplifting when places shows appreciation for veterans. This is one major reason for me to be encouraged to write a review.
