Excellent spot to get your best grooming services! The shop is neat, minimal and very clean. The lighting is exceptional for spacing and this is what makes the barbers professionals at their craft. Thank you so much for taking care of my son! read more

Customer service is horrible came in today at 5pm, they had absolutely nobody waiting for a cut yet they denied me service saying they were booked out. I don't have much hair left so it would have been an easy cut. So now I'm forced to drive to Lancaster tomorrow to see my personal barber. They weren't booked they just used that as an excuse not to service me. Probably because I'm caucasian or just too lazy to work. Sometimes you can just feel the negative energy with people. read more

When the barbers there get there fades done there you know it's a good place to go. Really laid back place. I went early probably one of the first couple of customers for the day and there was a friendly vibe when I walked in the door. Clean shop. Young but very talented. Unfortunately I don't remember the barbers name but he did a really good job. I'm sure everyone who works there is just as good. read more

Horrible, the girl barber who did my fiancé's hair fucked it up lol I think the men should just keep it a barber shop .

Seriously worst barber shop ever! Most of the barbers suck ass. First of all my barber didn't even know how to cut hair. He shaved me without shaving cream. The back of my neck burned so bad. Please don't waste your time and money here. Check our fresh cuts in San Fernando. read more

What a waste of 2 hours, not even exaggerating. Walked in, didn't have an appointment so I figured after waiting an hour someone would clean me up, nope not even a "hey sorry for the wait, we will be with you soon" everyone just ignored me, guess my money wasn't needed. Thanks for doing me the favor, I most definitely won't be back. P.S. work on your customer service a little acknowledgement goes a long way!! read more

Really bad customer service, unprofessional, and very rude people, never go back again,

Looking for an honest opinion? Well here it is. After 12 years of begging my husband to change his so called Barber who was located in a salon and usually messed up his hair. I came across this place. My husband and I decided to check it out. Thankfully we got an amazing barber with great customer service! (That's hard to find now in day's) His name is Fred! He was so nice and took his time to hear exactly what my husband wanted. (Most people pretend to hear). He truly cares about what people want. After I saw how fresh and clean he left my husband I let him cut my 4yr old son. Man! He did such an amazing job on both of them. He was gentle and concern that my son was comfortable. My son was looking so handsome. A Barber who can leave a 4yr old looking as good as my son looked is worth every penny. Fred is truly talented!!!! Go check him out. You won't be disappointed. Guys! My husband's fade was cut so clean I couldn't get my eyes and hands off him. If you want girls chasing after you, Fred is the guy you should go see. read more

The "barbers" at this location are not what you expect. Don't come to this shop. Better shops in the valley than this one for sure. Check out MODERN BARBER ROOM. I only tried to get a cut here cause I live not even a block away. Never again. read more

I hear wknds are notoriously bad. So I came in on a Monday to get my little one taken care of. He is letting his hair grow, but I wanted it to look tamed while it grows out. He sat in Fred's chair, and I was thoroughly impressed by him. Fred was friendly to everyone that came in (I hate when u walk in a place and no one greets you, pet peeve). He asked me what I wanted for my son, and I showed him a picture. I explained to him we were letting it grow out, but I wanted it to look decent while it grew and not "urban" (No offense, but ur little boys need not to be lined up - parents avoid the urban indoctrination. He went right to work. The sides weren't too short and he trimmed the top. Then he styled and my son looked handsome as ever. I would definitely recommend him and will continue to bring my son here. read more

I called around 9 something today a Saturday. I asked if I could take my almost 2 year old son. They said yes and that they would take him in right away. I got there and surely they did and luckily the barber who cut my son's hair did a great job with being a toddler it isn't easy. My husband is going to start going there as well. Fast and good customer service. Compare to the place my husband usually goes to they always avoid cutting my son's hair. I get it, it isn't easy to cut little kids but be straight up and tell us about it. Instead of making us wait for nothing. Mature barbers with experience so come here. read more

You want a great haircut done right? Visit Jr's Barber Shop and ask for Fred. He takes his time and makes sure you look your best. I got a medium fade from Miranda today 06/07/20. She was clean, friendly, and did an excellent job. I haven't been in this area for a while. But from now on when I'm here I'll ask for her, and I totally recommend her. I also noticed she finished quickly along with a great job. Some barbers take FOREVER cutting your hair, but not her. Great timing and great cut. read more

So I'm looking for a place to cut my kids hair. I walked into this place and first impression was horrible. It smelled like marijuana. I was surprise that other mother's had their kids in there. I turned to my sister who confirmed the smell. We walked out very disappointed. If you are going to cut the hair of little ones, please have the decency to not smoke. It was not professional at all. read more

Unless you're one of their homies don't bother to show up to this place. The people running this place have no concept of what running a service oriented business consist of. Great place to get a fresh cut. All the barbers are dope. Jose does a dope job everytime.

So first off let me say this is the best barber shop I've been to in sylmar without a doubt I've been coming here for 2 years already all the barbers are great and very experienced my personal barber is Miranda she's undoubtedly the best female barber out here she never disappoints! Second barber I highly recommend is Junior he's really good and on point with his cuts if you come here you won't leave with a bad hair cut! And also a heads up call and make an appointment before you show up usually all the barbers here go by appointments so if your thinking of doing a walk in you might be in for a wait so to avoid time waisted sitting in the waiting room call and make your appointment. Miranda and junior are my personal 2 favorite barbers here highly recommend making an appointment with one of them! read more

I've been coming to Jr's Barber Shop for about 4 years now. Since then, I've refused to get a cut anywhere else. Angel has been my barber since I started going to JR's and Fredo has cut me a few times. All the barbers get down. There's a pool table, music, and a couple tv's. The place is great, the environment, and the cuts! As long as JR's is around, I won't be going anywhere else. Recommend to everyone! read more

Solid barbershop. I used to go to Faded Times in San Fernando, but they're closed way too often (sometimes just to watch football games). JRs Barbershop took care of me well last week. read more

I don't know about the barbershop anymore used to be good. No they jacked up the prices. Simple senior haircut $16 from $12 in one month. They got greedy and don't care about what the haircut is worth. Started looking for new barbershop read more

Great experience here. All barbers are friendly and professional. They also have a special for veterans which I don't think I've seen other barber shops have. It's always uplifting when places shows appreciation for veterans. This is one major reason for me to be encouraged to write a review. I've only interacted with two barbers so far, Ivan and Freddy, they both do excellent work. But then again all barbers at this place do excellent work. Thanks for the veteran appreciation! read more

Best barber shop in the valley. Just call in first if you don't want to wait a long time.

Ask for Barber Dude. He's been hooking me up with fresh cuts every week for about 6 years now. Never disappointed with his work.
