We entered into a contract in the summer of 2022 for an expensiin of our home. We wanted to add a 2nd story. We paid the contractor 90K. He took off the roof without proper permits from the city and the city shot the work down the next day. It rained on the house without a roof for many months. We lived in a roofless house for many months as we didn't have means and permission from the city to fix it. Contractor refused to return money. The house after a year was destroyed, moldy everything inside had to be trashed. He ruined our house and our lives. My kids cried themselves to sleep for months. We eventually had to move as we couldn't afford another house in that area.
It's been 2 years and we are now working with another contract to fix the damage. I honestly can not believe they treated us like trash and left me and my little kids to live in a moldy, wet destroyed house and refused to pay back the money. We didn't even ask for money to fix all the damage that was caused from the rain damaging literally everything in the house. They refused to give anything back and stopped responding.
It is my personal opinion that they should have jail time for stealing money and destroyed a house! read more
