He had me keep a calendar of my over nights, and stated I should have a second calendar kept by a family member. Then a year went by and my calendars were full we went back to court. He asked her if she knew about the calendars, and if the information recorded was believed to be true and if she had any objections to them. She stated no they were legit. Because they were. My daughter, to go and come as she feels fit, no friend of the court, no involvement from anyone other than myself and my ex. The judge even asked are you sure, do you want her to pay you child support? No your honor, I want my daughter's life to be free and clear from the entanglements of the family court process. The gavel went down and he proclaimed, Done! My daughter is now 26, and the relationship we have is second to none. Thank you Victor Bland, as I write this the tears are rolling down my face, Thank you for allowing me to not be a statistic. And to be the outlier in this world of fathers who lost to an unjust biased system. One final note, my ex and I are now great friends, I am invited to every holiday function at her house and vise versa. She has been married three times divorced twice and had 3 more children.
