A few weeks…read morelater, my wife noticed the brakes were making a squealing noise during turns so I brought the vehicle back to have it inspected. I was charged $100 just for them to look into the issue. What was most concerning was learning that when the brakes and rotors were replaced a few weeks earlier, the shop chose to install lower-quality aftermarket parts rather than OEM parts. The original components on the vehicle were OEM, but instead of giving us the option to choose, the service advisor of Indian descent told me they used cheaper parts because OEM parts were "too expensive" and would make them less competitive. That decision was made without our knowledge or approval. When it comes to critical safety components like brakes, customers should always be given the option and informed about the quality of parts being installed. Choosing lower-quality parts to save money--without discussing it with the customer--raises serious concerns about quality, safety, and reliability. At the very least, we should have been given the option to replace the parts with OEM components or informed beforehand about what was being installed. Instead of rectifying their original mistake they shifted focus to other parts (pins) that still didn't address the issue at hand. Hence, I would not recommend if you're looking for honesty, quality, safety, and RELIABILITY.

They never have my filter in stock. I MAKE AN APPT! You know I'm coming, why aren't you ordering ahead of time?? That was when I was DONE! I spoke to Ryan, who made it right by giving me a free oil change. Made the appt, and came in for my oil change. No more Ryan...WOW.....they then tried to charge me for my oil change. "No notes in the system" is what I was told. I walked out. Not paying this place another dime, EVER!! Owner needs to learn about the business be bought. After doing quite a bit of research on several shops nearby, a lot of these insurance recommended shops felt like high turnover and didn't seem specialized for Lexus vehicles. I even made a point to call the nearest Lexus dealership and they recommended what felt like a random "mom n pop" shop. As a last resort, I ended up going through the Lexus website where I found Boyce was one of just a handful of Lexus certified shop in the Chicagoland area. After some initial conversations with Kyle and Josue, I could tell they were considering many different aspects of different safety features that could have been damaged from the rear impact collision. This attention to detail sold me, and although I had to wait a couple weeks to bring the car in for repairs I was convinced they wouldn't miss anything during repair. From the minute I decided to go with Boyce, it was pretty much smooth sailing. Boyce took care of any necessary correspondence needed with my insurance company, scheduled Enterprise Car rental to pick me up from the shop, and were very responsive to any calls or emails checking on status. On completion of repairs, I came in to pick up my car which looked pretty close to brand new, however I had noticed some new damage to the driver's side door which wasn't there before. Luckily, Boyce takes hi res photos of the vehicle before taking in and were able to confirm they were at fault. While it was inconvenient to have to bring my car in a second time, I'm just glad Jim was able to confirm and take care of the damages and 2nd rental vehicle. That was very professional, honest, and detail oriented. Knock on wood I don't need to ever come back for repairs, but if I do I know who to call. 'Til next time, cheers!
