Have eyebrow struggles? Or maybe just tired of having to fill in your brows every day? JP Artistry…read morewill help you look your absolute best!  I got microblading done and I am in love with how great my brows look. I can't wait to come back for my touch up. I was debating for the longest time if I wanted to get it done; the idea of a semi-permanent procedure on my face had me petrified, especially because your brows define your face!! I did LOADS of research and asked plenty of questions. She is super patient, friendly and professional. She explained the process to me and answered any questions I had. There was absolutely no pressure. She ensured I was comfortable with whatever I decided so I felt more secure with my decision.  She takes her time to make sure she gets your brows right and walks you through the process the entire time. She also makes sure you're comfortable during the procedure. Not going to lie, microblading can be somewhat uncomfortable and a little painful but the numbing cream definitely helps a ton, it also depends on your pain tolerance (I have a very low pain tolerance). But if semi-permanent makeup isn't your thing, she also offers an array of other services such as threading, tweezing or tinting to keep those brows in perfect shape.  Oh and did I mention her prices are beyond reasonable?? What are you waiting for? Contact her to make your brow dreams come true. You won't be disappointed!

Joann made me feel so comfortable by explaining everything she was going to do prior to doing it. She checked in with me frequently to see how I was feeling and made adjustments as she went along so I had the perfect shape and color for my face and skin color. I would recommend Joann to anyone!

Extremely frustrating experience with Thread Bar's Washington Square location and their handling of…read moreClassPass. I went in person to schedule a lash lift and tint and specifically told the employee I wanted to use my ClassPass credits. When I asked how to book it through ClassPass, she told me, "Don't worry about it. You don't need to book it on there since we made the appointment here." On the day of my appointment, only one hour beforehand, I received a call saying they couldn't honor it because the Washington Square location doesn't use ClassPass. Five minutes later, they called back and said they would accommodate me. I again made it very clear that I wanted to use ClassPass and was willing to go to whichever location accepted it. They specifically told me to go to Washington Square. After my service, I was then told I couldn't use ClassPass because I hadn't booked through the app--even though the same employee who performed my service was the person who originally told me I didn't need to. Their explanation was that they're "fairly new on ClassPass and still figuring it out." I understand being new to the platform, but their mistake and repeated misinformation should not cost the customer money. I paid for the service, but I won't be returning and will be reporting the experience to ClassPass. If you're going to participate in ClassPass, your staff should understand how it works and honor what customers are told.

She asked how I wanted them done, I asked for just a clean up as we both agreed that going thinner would not look good. However, after my eyebrows were done, I felt there were just a touch thinner than I wanted but still very smooth and clean. The tech was friendly and the price was more than reasonable. They share a parking lot with their plaza. 4/5.

I want to start off this review by stating that I am VERY particular about the way I get my brows…read moreshaped. I will only go to places that offer threading as an option. I also have a very strong preference for Indian salons, as threading for eyebrows is a part of their culture. Finding an Indian-owned salon to get my brows done in South Jersey was hard, until I found Padma's. Voorhees has a wide variety of Indian-owned stores ranging from clothing, to food, to salons. Padma's offers many types of salon services and henna. I have now been going every few weeks for my brow threading over the course of several months. Padma's is located in a strip mall in Voorhees. It's not your average fancy or aesthetically-pleasing salon. However, it offers a good variety of salon/spa services as well as Indian wedding makeup. The women who work here are dedicated and do a great job. Because Padma's is well-staffed, they are able to accommodate a good number of customers at once. For eyebrow threading/waxing, appointments aren't required. I have never waited longer than 10 minutes to get my threading done. Overall, I really like this place. The women who work here all do a great job. While they're not focused on exceptional customer service, they still do their best to make conversation and be friendly. For anyone who is familiar with foreign-owned businesses, Padma's has some of that sentimental "back home" feel. Their pricing is also much lower than others in the area; they charge $6 for brows and $4 for upper lip. This place is a true gem; I always make sure to plan my threading around the times in the area.

I had a great experience at the Garden with Nina! She is kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I…read morewould love to have her perform my treatments in the future. However, I was not made aware during the time of booking that the cost of Botox injectables is not necessarily based off cost/unit. In my previous Botox injections, a simple lip flip & nasolabial injection for a gummy smile costs an average of 150-200. Average units for me is anywhere from 8-12. Upon checking out at the Garden, I was informed that my $100 deposit would be subtracted from the total cost. I was then informed at the time of checking out my total cost for services would total $325 for a lip flip!! And that was after my deposit was subtracted. I was informed that VIP members have different perks, and that I would have to pay the price for the specific area. I'm very upset that I was 1) not informed of the cost before booking and 2) obligated to pay almost double for a procedure that should have been significantly less. I loved the staff at the location and my injector however, I feel as though I have been scammed for the services. I'm very disappointed in the pricing and lack of communication and cost before booking. I cannot afford to pay for services for something so simple, and will unfortunately not be able to return.

The reaction was so bad I ended up at Urgent Care and then several days later, at my dermatologist for help. Unfortunately, no help from Garden Medical Spa. The owner call me (after I left two messages) and said this is normal. He never ask me to come in, just continued to say hang in there. After being on medication to heal the reaction, the swollenness has subsided, but the itching and redness is still here. The effect from this process has left my skin dry and wrinkled. It is as if, my skin looks worse. This is NOT the establishment you want to go to for any treatments, as they will not stand by their mistakes or help in any way :=(( I have truly been on my own.
