I said I will need it sooner than that. I then received a Court decision the next day that made the need for the Trust mute. They then said they moved up the meeting date, which wasn't needed then. So they kept my $8,750 claiming they "did work for me" over the 24 hour period that was "moved up" instead of the 5 week wait. I have nothing. They did no work but insist on keeping all my money. I offered to pay for time spent , they refused. They kept my entire payment. My advice would be to not be as trusting and in hindsight "stupid" for paying up front an entire bill. My problem is I trust people, and this is an expensive lesson that I shouldn't have trusted the Siegel Law Group.

So when she found out of this prepaid legal service called ARAG, which provides legal services including estate planning and wills, she decided to sign up. She came to this law center to 1) create a trust so she can put her property and other items of value and name both of us as beneficiaries. 2) create a living will in case the worst happens. Certainly you do not want to have a situation when some major health/medical event occurs and my brother and I would not know what my mothers wishes are...especially the problem could then arise when people disagree with what to do and even a hospital/doctor may get in the way. One of the worst experience in both my mother and my life was when my little sister was dying and the hospital was refusing to allow her to go in peace. The attorney, was very knowledgeable and patient. She helped my mother throughout this process including the time in the office to make sure she understood every document she signed. The experience was so good, I will be coming myself to prepare my own living will. I hope neither of the living will created for Mom or the one which will be created for me will have to be used.
