She sent me some paperwork to give her details and then we had a phone conversation to discuss and get to know one another. The studio isn't huge, but there's a back room for changing, a bathroom, and the standard drape for girl's graduation photos and suit jackets, shirts, and even bow ties for boys. We brought a number of outfits and were able to get shots of all of them. They have a number of props, backdrops, and scenery projections, which is what we were after. These guys have been in business 30 years and it shows. I think we've already found our wedding photographers!

Afterwards, Mr. Caston had me look through the photos only once. After I commented that a couple photos looked good, he immediately began editing one of the photos without confirming which one I actually wanted to be edited. I wanted more time to look at the photos. When I asked if I can have some time to view them at home and then let him know which one I wanted to be edited, he told me it was not possible and I would have to pay extra for that. As I did not have enough time to look through the photos to pick out the one I liked the most, I had to pay an extra $110 on top of the $135 photoshoot for a USB with the rest of the photos even though I just wanted proofs. I was very unhappy with the quality of this service and Mr. Caston's attitude towards me. I wish I wasn't rushed by him and he could have offered me an option of proofs instead of charging me an extra $110 for photos. I would definitely not recommend Caston Studio.

Another year, another amazing experience with Anika. Please go back and read my original review for…read morea thorough breakdown of my previous experience. This experience was just as wonderful, if not more! Our session this year was on this past Sunday, a super cold winter day and we were her last session of the day. We were so excited for the beautiful boho setup and my toddler couldn't wait to see Ms. Anika's horses. When we rolled up, we were greeted by her same warm smile and it felt like it hadn't been a year since we saw her. Anika instantly makes you feel comfortable, which is so refreshing! I enjoy talking to her during the session and in all of our correspondence. She started off taking some photos of my husband and son. My toddler was super distracted by Anika's kitty, which was roaming around. It was so cute, and I don't know how she still managed to get incredibly beautiful photos of him while he was so distracted, but she did. The set for this year was so beautiful, with a boho style egg chair surrounded by sparkling, lit Christmas trees and other Christmas themed decor. She got great ones of all of us sitting in the chair, of myself and my son, and of just him. Once we finished with the set, she allowed my toddler to meet her beautiful horses - and he even got to pet them! 3 days later, he is still talking about the horses on the farm and how much he loved petting them. We then took some photos in a grassy area, with the setting sun behind us providing the most beautiful golden light. All of the photos are just indescribably beautiful. It was even more special that I am pregnant this year (and showing!) so we were able to get some wonderful maternity shots. Thank you, Anika, for giving us these memories two years in a row!
