Our 19-year-old is graduating this year, and we decided to do a few family photos, as well. We chose a scenic local park for the backdrop for our pictures. Rueben was laid back and easy going. As candid shots work best for our family, we gave him free reign to utilize his artistic skills and click away as he saw creative opportunities. Our boys took to Rueben immediately and loved the camera. Talk about photo bombing! Rueben got some great shots of both boys, our whole family, and even a few of just my husband and me. His turn around time for the pictures was SPEEDY! The photos were phenomenal; Rueben has a good eye. Although a handful of our pictures were posed, he was able to capture moments of interaction, emotion, and personality. Thanks so much, Rueben! #highlyrecommend #value #cherishedmoments

Jess was absolutely amazing during our maternity/family photo shoot at Lake Anna…read more We coordinated on the location and the time of day to ensure the best photos for our family. Jess was extremely flexible and patient as we worked through the optimal location and time. The shoot was amazing, she came prepared with ideas and we had several props to use to help create the experience we wanted. She was GREAT working with our 2 year old son Johnnie, I couldn't believe how great all of the photos were with him. Overall, one of the BEST photoshoots we've had (and we do a lot)! The gallery is just breathtaking and we couldn't be happier with our experience with Jess. Looking forward to another shoot during our next visit to Lake Anna! Crystal Rokos

The first I heard of Julie Atlas Photography was when I purchased a discounted photo session…read morethrough Amazon Local Deals. Julie was pleasant to work with and had great ideas for outdoor locations. Our group included my 91 yr old mother, myself, 2 daughters and 1 granddaughter. Julie took a nice assortment of photos of all of us as well as different combinations of us. She could have been a little more detail oriented in that I stopped her several times to rearrange hair or such and still there were a couple shots where taking a second to straighten posture or an outfit would have made a big difference in the photo.

When we got married I would have loved to have had a tiny country wedding, but family obligations on my husband's side had us locked into a very large affair. Caroline helped us create and capture the intimate moments I was longing for. She worked with us every step of the way to create a photography package that fit our budget and included exactly what we were looking for and none of the extras a lot of the other companies we spoke with tried to slide in. A wedding day is full of adventures and unknowns, but there was never a moment where I had a single second of anxiety about Caroline and I'm proud to have her work in my home (and would be even if it wasn't our wedding photos). In fact - our venue was so impressed by her they asked if they could display the pictures she took of our wedding in their advertising for their wedding packages. She is simply a joy on all levels.
