One can see them proudly hung in local businesses and private homes throughout Richmond. Most notably: Phil's Continental Lounge, Miller and Rhoads Condominium Lobby, The 2300 Club, and many more. My experience was in purchasing some of these historic prints in order to frame then as a Christmas gift for a friends home. The prints are black and white and start out at $20.00 unframed and $60.00 framed for a 5x7 size and go up from there. Dementi was started in 1924 and is now run by the third generation. The studio also offers professional head shots, portfolios, portraits, wedding and event photography and even will rent studio space in the building should you choose to shoot your own. I am also pleased to say that they are keeping up with the times by offering on line review of photos. A portrait session I was quoted for 8 prints was $100.00 which I think was very affordable. Next time you are downtown, stop in and walk into the lobby to view all of the prints they have for sale. It is a wonderful walk though Richmond history.
