Between pressuring me to get gel and digging in my toes after I told Victor not to, I won't be back. Never a wait and now I know why. Massages sucked! The service is subpar. I'll continue driving to Summerville. I'm sad because I wanted my local nail place to be good. Keep driving. Go to Summerville to TL nails. They listen and they give the best massages. I'm giving the extra star because the ladies were ok the first two times

His attitude was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. As the owner, I would expect a much higher level of customer service. Instead, he made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome from the moment the conversation began. The interaction became so upsetting that my friend left in tears, which is absolutely unacceptable when customers are paying for a service and should be treated with basic respect and kindness. We want to make it clear that Kim has always been wonderful and talented, and this review is not a reflection of her work. However, with ownership displaying this level of disrespect toward customers, we cannot support this business and will not be returning. No customer should ever leave an appointment feeling humiliated or reduced to tears over a simple request.

I went La Bella Vita to get my hair trimmed as well as a simple all over hair dye. The anger I feel…read moreat the business should not have happened. While getting my hair done I had to numerous times explain that I wanted my hair thinned, layered, the dead ends trimmed and dyed. I felt rushed by the beautician, ignored, and insulted. The color I wanted didn't happen. . She admitted she was at fault with the color coming out many, many shades too dark. In the back of my head there was a spot that had either gotten missed, hadn't been on long enough (she had mixed too little of the color and had to go back to mix it and I had to wait 15-20 minutes for her to return) or she used different dye. While she had been trimming my hair, finally I noticed a spot she had missed. She didn't comment on it and as she was dropping my hair I asked what that was. She tried to act innocent like she did not see it. She pestered me to pay and I said I would not pay for this mess. She asked me to return to fix it the next day. After being there for five hours I was annoyed but I wanted my hair fixed properly. I agreed to return. Today I had gone back. Again, I felt rushed. The beautician was rough with my hair, short and all but rude to me when I came in. I did not go in with an attitude. I did not go in angry. I wanted to give them a chance to fix the error that was made. Unfortunately, this did not happen. They complained the entire time about how many products had to be used to fix my hair. They had to strip it to give it a solid color. The color was wrong and it was three different colors. The beautician who was doing my hair said she liked it in a way that made me feel this was what I was going to be stuck with and that was that. I said I did not want it like it was and wanted it fixed. Again, I felt rushed and tossed around. She was upset that I was there to get it fixed and it was taking so long simply because she had other clients and she wanted to get to them. Finally, after hours a solid color came to be. I didn't want the color in my hair but at this point there was nothing they would do to change it. My hair feels dry and damaged because of them. When we had gone to pay they wanted full price. I told them no and they complained they couldn't lose money. They used so many products and it would have been 300 dollars with the products they used. I explained it cost gas money to go there and it would be ten dollars. I asked if they could just take off the money for gas and they firmly said no. They then proceeded to demand money again and asked how we would pay- again. Do. Not. Go. Here. If they mess up, they will charge you full price and blame your hair for taking the color wrong even after admitting fault. I feel disgusted, humiliated and insulted.

So I just finished giving this place a review on Google and thought I'd check out Yelp. Can't…read morebelieve I'm the first to review here but here we go: I really want to give this place no stars because if everybody finds out how great it is then I will never get an appointment. The place will be mobbed.  Tiffany Gaston is the owner and CNS (Chief Nail Stylist). Yes. I made that title up. But it is SO appropriate. Because when you leave this place your nails are not just done--they will have been styled. Tiffany is very meticulous and extremely professional.  I love the fact that she only takes appointments, which means no waiting.  I love it when my time is valued and I detest waiting. DE-TEST it. It also gives her time to sanitize and freshen things up between customers. And the appointments can be done on line which is very convenient. I speak full-time for a living. Can I just use my fingers to book an appt without continuing to "work?" Oh and did I say that the place is clean? I couldn't find a speck of dust. (And I looked...) The entire place is tastefully done with soft, relaxing music coming through the recessed speakers in the ceiling. Also some places will take credit cards, but will only accept tips in cash. I'm usually thinking "Now if I'm using my debit/credit card, that must mean cash is not my friend right now. Just because I have two dollars in the bank doesn't mean I have two dollars in my pocket."  With Tips & Toes you can put the cost AND the tip on your card if you desire. . I wouldn't be surprised if she takes Apple Pay. Though I am surprised I didn't ask. My permanent residence is in NYC. I can seriously see myself scheduling my trips to the south based on my nail appointments. As the good Lord would have it, she's not too far from the I-95 exit. "Road trip anyone??"
