I can often be found wandering about Joy - located next to the likes of Zara, & Other Stories and Paperchase, it's my usual 'stomping ground' when walking home from any kind of activity in the city centre. When this involves shopping, I'll usually pop into Joy for a look around.
The window displays are really well put together, changing with the seasons, and always displaying their top items (sometimes so top that they're not easy to track down once you're in the store!) It's split between fashion and gifts, with women's on the mid and upper level, and then men's below.
The gifts are not unlike what you'll find in Urban Outfitters / Oklahoma, but they do have a good selection of cards if you don't want to battle the crowds in Scribbler or Paperchase. The service is always friendly from behind the till but staff on the floor can be a bit on the blase and uninterested side.
On the fashion side of things, they stock a good range of items which you'll struggle to find elsewhere in the city. I haven't bought many items here but it's my go to for outfits for events like weddings; they usually have a plethora of florals and tulle if that's what you're interested in!
