I have been in a living hell for 6 month since we bought one of those "Newly Remodeled" houses. Roof leakage, basement flooding, plumbing issues, sump pump issues (I already replaced both) - just to name a few from the long list. Everything in the house started falling apart. One thing after another. Even "newly stained" hardwood floor is going up and down while you walk on it. Seller put new dryer, but failed to change original broken dryer vent cover ($5.00). A bird got inside and died there. The smell was awful. We had to disassemble all vents in order to remove dead bird and disinfect pipes. New paint is chipping already. Words just cannot describe all the hell we have been through. From the unpleasant closing experience till now I try to understand how far people could go to lie and make a profit on someones expense. Be extremely careful when you will deal with remodeled/flipped house by Gold and Azen Realty. It might look nice on outside, however, there will be a lot hidden problems behind the walls. Water leak in the basement, crawl space, lower level. Check the roof, attic, garage. Get a very good inspector. Even better, get all the history what was done in this house. There is a difference on what permit was issued for and what was really done after inspector left. Warning! Do not fall for new appliances, Samsung has many recalls. Warning! If basement is finished and has carpet on the floor-run away! If they tell you they have other offers, walk away. Unfortunately, I didn't. I am an experienced home owner who lived in another house for 17 years.
