This rose garden is absolutely beautiful, with many varieties of roses in every color. My favorite parts was the labeled fragrance roses, remember to stop and smell each one. It's a fun way to experience the garden. Be extra careful, car break-ins can happen in this area. We saw a car with its window smashed during our visit. Don't leave any valuables or visible items inside your vehicle, even for a short time. Overall, it's a gorgeous place to walk around, take photos, and enjoy the variety of roses.

It's located in Washington Park and was the perfect way to spend a few relaxing hours. I had afternoon tea nearby, so I ended up taking a scenic walk to the garden. If you'd rather skip the hike, it's easy to reach by bus or the MAX from downtown. Washington Park also offers a free shuttle from the MAX station to the rose garden, making it very accessible. The garden is home to more than 10,000 rose bushes representing over 600 varieties. I visited in mid-June, which is peak bloom season, and the displays were absolutely stunning. Everywhere I looked, there were vibrant colors, beautiful fragrances, and countless photo opportunities. Best of all, admission is completely free! Whether you're a gardening enthusiast, love photography, or just want a peaceful place to stroll, the International Rose Test Garden is definitely worth a visit.

I did walk the perimeter of the Hoyt ArboretumFor hikers and nature lovers, this is a gem.Washington Park has a free shuttle that loops around all the major attractions (seasonal). Parking can be a little tricky during peak times, so plan ahead or take public transit. The cool thing is getting around Washington Park -- there's free shuttle that's takes you to all these places within the park so you don't have to stress about limiting parking spots. Yelp Tip:There are plenty of quiet spots with tables and open lawns to relax between visits -- so do a picnic. Highly recommend carving out time in your Portland trip to explore it properly.

They tell you they'll email your receipt, but they don't confirm your email address. They also mention that the membership will automatically renew in six months and that you'll receive an email reminder if you want to cancel. What I find strange is that the email address I entered myself on their tablet for the foot scan results came through immediately, but I still haven't received the receipt email. When I try to verify the membership on their website, it says I don't have one. I called the store, and the person I spoke with said my email had been entered incorrectly (a letter and number was swapped) and that I should receive my receipt by the end of the day. What concerns me is that no one ever asked me for my email address during checkout or asked me to verify it, despite signing me up for a membership with an automatic renewal. I assumed there wouldn't be an issue because I had already entered my email myself for the foot scan, but somehow my email was still entered incorrectly on their end. I've never had an emailed receipt take that long from any other retailer, and their website still says I don't have a membership. I'll check again tomorrow, and if these issues still aren't resolved, I'll contact my bank to block any future recurring charges. The whole experience just felt strange. I'm assuming it's a one-time cost (check with the store if you're interested). I explained that I don't live in Oregon, to which I learned they ship products! But, he respected my decline as I support a local family store in my home city. Also, the price of my shoes was market competitive, which was nice to see.

The store looks extravagant with lots of fancy interior arts, illustrations and shoe walls. There are apparel, shoes and some accessories sections. The fitting room area is also nice. As I explored the store, I saw a lot cool shoes, both for men and women. They were some of the newest model of sneakers. For apparels, they had the casual and workout gears. There was a small section for World Cup team merchandise. Prices of the items were Nike standard, on the higher end. The staff members at the store were friendly. Multiple of them interacted with us and also assisted with trying items in fitting room. We bought a Brazil Team's t-shirt. Checkout was quick and easy. This location is incredibly convenient, with everything I need within walking distance. The prices are reasonable, and it's not as large as the Nike company store. One of the things I appreciate most about this store is that it carries some items that I can't find at other locations. Overall, I find it a decent place to shop for Nike gear. The store wasn't overwhelming due to the sheer volume of products, and the customer service was exceptional. The store wasn't overly crowded, which made it a pleasant shopping experience. In addition to Nike gear, the store also has a good selection of running shoes. However, I did notice that a lot of the shirts I purchased ran two times smaller than what I'm used to. For instance, I usually purchase a medium, but a medium felt like an extra large, so I would have to go with a small, and even that felt a little large. So, be mindful of that when visiting this location. I think this is a pretty good Nike location. I haven't had the opportunity to compare it with other Nike stores in Portland, other than Beaverton, but I was satisfied with my purchases and the overall experience at this store.

I had taken group lessons for a couple summers in 2013-2014 (a beginner in my 30s) but felt like I would be starting from scratch now, and set a goal to become a 2.5 player by the end of my package. Well I'm happy to say that, by the end of my 20 lessons, I have surpassed that 2.5 goal and Coach Brian is the reason! With coaching style that is based on positive reinforcement and encouragement, our lessons were highly enjoyable and I could see and feel that I was progressing quickly. Brian alternates between various drills and each lesson we would cycle through practicing ground strokes at the T, from the service line and at the net, serving, vollying, as well as drills to improve my reaction time, form, agility, etc. Brian's training has ensured that I'm not just good at one type of play or stroke and that I will be ready for all styles of game play. I'm so grateful to have worked with him and am completely obsessed with Tennis now!" Karen-Oregon
