It has many nice cafes, this one included, that has very nice warm atmosphere. I had a sandwich and a coffee for breakfast. The bread was fresh and tasty and the coffee was good. You can get a free refill if you get regular coffee. The cafe has large windows towards the square which is nice to look at as people pass by all the time. Definitely a Sunday place in my opinion!

The cafe was not overly crowded and had a very laid back vibe. Even though it's not in a touristy area, the employees all spoke perfect English. I ordered the pesto and ham sandwich and was surprised at how good it was! Most of the sandwiches at cafes in Oslo taste like they have been sitting out for hours. The bread was still soft and moist, the veggies were crunchy, and the pesto tasted home made. Before leaving, I saw the employees making more sandwiches in the back, so they really are fresh! Overall, I'm surprised this cafe hasn't gotten better reviews because it is by far one of the best I have been to in my four weeks in Oslo.
