Let me just start off by saying that I absolutely love Clark shoes! I own 2 privos, mary janes, and…read morea pair of heals from them. I travel a lot so I get really excited when I see one of their stores. I actually had been looking for a pair of boots, so I thought it would be perfect to buy them while I was in CO. Until, I came into this particular store! From the moment I walked in, It had such a negative vibe. I couldn't pinpoint if it was the people, the layout, the temp. It sure didn't have that warm and fuzzy feeling that you get when they are passionate about there shoes as I am. They clearly looked at me like I wasn't worth approaching (did I look like I didn't have any money or something!) The Temp outside was 45degrees and windy, do you think that the doors to a retail store should be wide open? I asked the woman who worked there if she wouldn't mind closing them...I was shivering with my jacket on and her response was. "we are getting more business because we have the doors open" so she left it open. Never mind my business right? I actually was ready to buy that day and now my experience with Clarks is tainted because of her retarded response! Excuse me lady, but if the temperature inside is quite cold then that will quickly make customers leave! I would rather spend the money and fly back to England to buy my shoes then come back into your store again!

My mother and I came into Clark's around 13:15 on Black Friday 2017. The moment we walked in the…read moredoor we were greeted and asked if we needed any assistance finding anything. We decided to browse before asking for assistance. I was looking for a pair of below the knee boots in black. I found a wonderful pair and before I could reach my hand out to touch them a kind women started giving me useful information about the boots. I asked for them in my size and she quickly went to the back to find them. Within a minute or so she sat me down, took out the boots and I was trying them on. Excellent service! The boots were beautiful but slightly tight on the thigh. The women assisting me immediately went to the back and got the next size up. I tried these on and walked around the store. Then I tried one of each to see which felt better. I ended up with my usual size knowing that leather gives slightly after it's been worn. The woman packed the boots up nicely and put the other pair back. I continued to browse the store with the boots box in hand. After a minute or store she is back and told me she could hold my boots behind the counter for me so I did not have to lug them around the store while looking at more boots, this was greatly appreciated. My mother had a similar experience with a young male helping her, she also found a pair of boots that she loved. The young gentleman was very helpful! Both boot purchases we saved a good chunk of money, which is always a good thing! Both my mother and I were impressed with the attentiveness of the people working there and will definitely be back when we are in the area looking for high quality boots.

Well it's not my fault I wanted to get a few runs in at Monarch to calm my nerves before fighting the ticket those pigs slapped on my Subie. Anyway, I needed pants. Banana Republic was having a sale, which meant it was more crowded than Breck on a powder day. The salespeople were buzzing around, and while I respect the hustle, there are certain lines you do not cross. While I was dropping trou in the changing room, one of them asked me "How are those pants fitting, Trevor?" Hold up. I've got my pants around my ankles. There are only two people who can address me when my pants are down: my buddy T-Dawg, and Jesus. T-Dawg was at his place, and I don't see this salesperson rocking sandals and walking on water. Needless to say, I bailed before they could disrespect my privacy again. I wore my good hiking pants to court and saw T-Dawg get his license back, so it all worked out in the end. Probably wouldn't hit up this Banana Republic again though.

He had a great personality, willingness to help, and very knowledgeable. Long story short --We did all the boot fitting process (measurements, standing in place, baking the boots, talking about fit and feel) and narrowed it down to the Atomic Hawx which was a significant improvement from my current boots and much needed on my end for performance and fit. David did mention the need for having bindings that were Grip Walk compatible which I didn't know if my binding had that but I had them in my car so I brought them in later on. Now after the boots were molded, fitted, and amazing we started the binding conversation. My current bindings were not compatible with Grip Walk boots and the problem solving started. Megan and Chris they worked their magic and troubleshooted the Grip-Walkless binding situation I was in and problem solved with another pair of Atomic boots that still had the Alpine Soles as they were out of the spare parts in the stock room. I greatly appreciated the above and beyond service, friendliness, and overall care for me as a customer and the extra steps everyone took to go above and beyond. As someone who has worked in retail, I can appreciate and understand the stress and impact the job has on you and I would like to give kudos to David, Chris, and Megan. You made my experience unforgettable, I felt extremely valued during my time with all of you and I can't wait to use my new boots this weekend. Thank you so much!
