I was there 10 years and I've NEVER been to a place that makes one feel so alone and rejected. I have a list. Once money and sterns came in that place became different. Another 20 years down the road and Im still witnessing crap. Even recently, my friend who I met there was struggling and reached out and they rejected them cuz they needed to prove being a member?! THIS IS A CHURCH?? Jesus said if you want to find me, help the poor, the grieving, lame. But no, not this place, they just judge you. Again and again and again. It won't stop!!!! IT NEEDS TO STOP.

He then followed up by telling us about the "Empty Nesters" group within the church that hosts monthly theme potlucks and other activities. We were introduced to a couple in that group who invited us to a gathering that very afternoon. Since then, we have continued to meet new people of all ages throughout the church by attending a host of events. We were looking for a scripture-based church, and this is it. Although the pastoral staff has changed since we started attending, Pastor Pete and guest speakers have led the congregation with remarkable sermons that leave me with new insight every time.
