My wife and I have used Dr. Tann since 2019. We really like her and she is very professional,…read morecaring and likeable. HOWEVER, as the DFWPMA group grew, they have failed to keep reliable, efficient office help. I needed to see her once thinking I might have a kidney infection. I was told she was on vacation by whom ever answered the phone. I told them my concerns and was told she would check with the nurse and see if another physician in the practice could see me and I would be contacted that day (Wednesday). By Friday, when I still hadn't heard from her office I went to Red River Emergency Hospital and was seen. The following Monday, I got a call from Dr. Tann's nurse asking if I had a problem. JUST a little late. My sister-in-law needed a follow up mammogram and TMS is the only place in Grayson Co doing those now. Dr. Tann's office was supposed to order that procedure but it took three calls to her office to get it ordered. She and her husband also had 6 month routine wellness labs performed and were supposed to be called with the results. 3 weeks later, they still had not heard the results. My wife was prescribed an anti-depressant which she had taken in the past. The pharmacy substituted a generic for the name brand. After taking a weeks worth of the medicine, she had trouble walking and was more despondent than before. I stopped giving it to her and the problems cleared up. Several weeks later we had a televisit by Dr. Tann. She advised to try the medicine again. We did with the same results. We once again stopped it and the problems cleared up again. Upon informing Dr. Tann, she said she would re-prescribe the medication and tell the pharmacy to use name brand only and if there was a problem to let her know. We got a message from the pharmacy later that day that not only was her generic medication ready but that the Dr. had prescribed a 90 day supply. This was on a Tuesday. I called Dr. Tann's office and told whom ever answered the phone of the problem and was told the nurse would get back to me soon. As of today, Saturday, we still have not heard a thing from Dr. Tann's office! I really like Dr. Tann herself and want to keep using her, but, the office or nursing staff in either overloaded with work or is totally incompetent. Personally, I think that the Group has grown too large, too fast and hasn't paid enough attention to base structure. I would give Dr. Tann, herself an A+ but her office staff/nursing staff an F-!
